What happened to crowe?

I tried going to the crowe apparel site and got a 403 error. What happened to them? Anyone know?
 
I believe crowe was started by, or they had a heavy influence in the creation, a few guys from kicking horse. I'm not sure if that was the exact details, but some of my buddies rode for them and i thought they were more involved too. They haven't been on Crowe for a few years, and are now goign to school in Van. Most likely never found a bank account to help them out.

It was run by a guy named Ben who I believe made just about everything by hand himself... if it's gone that's a huge loss because there's no other company I know of that can make you something to spec like he could.
 
it got too big and ben couldnt keep up wiht the demand. he is now working at a materials wholesaler in saskatchewan and making a butt load of money and revising his business plan. Crowe was put on hold for a few years and he plans to go into somewhat of a partnership with this wholesaler and get his materials off htem and use their distribution. Look for it in a year or two. apparently he is taking his time to do it right.
 
I have a crowe jacket. I bought it almost 4 years ago now and to this day it's the sickest jacket I've ever owned. Every detail of it is well thought out and built for both style and functionality. Plus the pockets are huge and good for smuggling just about anything into anywhere. Shame to see the company put on hiatus, I would definitely be interested in buying another jacket.
