I mean we all knew the Vail buyout last year wasn't gonna be good, but deleting the Instagram account with thousands of edits and 20K followers, WTF.
 
Just noticed their insta got deleted yesterday, I went to look up and edit that me and the homies got a couple clips in (/claim). Huge bummer that Vail is taking over, the park was always sick there but it had a really awesome community around it too

Holy shit, I thought the fun zone account was real! The first post I saw was the story saying "no hiking in the park" which didn't surprise me in the slightest as being 100% on brand.
 
I keep thinking about this. There has to be some way to get back at vail right? Like the little guy always wins in all the movies so.

Maybe one of us can befriend some crazy rich tech magnate and have them buy out vail, then dissolve it as a PR stunt. You know like “buy his cloud computing service, he stands up for the ski bums, he took down the evil empire.” Anything is possible

Haha, the captions give it away almost immediately I thought. The best part is all the people commenting on it that think it's real.
 
big boulder was right on the brink of an okay distance and a little far, I decided to get a pass last year and it was my best and most fun year skiing yet. Now that it is ruined it sucks. I can’t get a refund on my epic pass either. Going to make up for it with a trip out west and a couple trips to mt snow.

going to 7springs next year
