Soo, i just watched and old good classic skimovie, Long story short. and i realised how fucking sick Corey Vanulars part really is. Just get me so pumped by watching him throw down the sickest stuff, and this was like 4-5 years ago, fucking amazing. so i wonder, what happend to him? i never see him in any new ski movies. he had like 3 shots in teddybear crisis and thats it, did he get an injury or what? update me!

so i was just thinkin about this.. if that was only 4 years ago, then the progression was just,, unbelieveable. i'm scared to even see skiing in 2015

His park shoot seggy is what made skiing what it is today. Anyone that absolutely slays park, that I know, was way influenced by that segment.

The first legit rodeos on... and the rodeo 9 mute to lead japan that everyone tries to imitate still.

long story short was released 2006 if iam correct, which means it was filmed 05/06. and not rly, corey did some crazy shit, not double corks but he throwed down some corks onto a flatdown rail and stuff. so any1 who knows why the hell he didnt film with poorboyz, rage, etc lately? hes fucking awesome

yea hes truly made skiing what it is today, all the huge stomped rodeos with a massive rideaway, fucking sick!

corey vanular got fucking dicked over by the ski industry as far as im concerned. level one is the only thing around that gives him the respect he deserves

yea i know hes in refresh but he was in teddybear crisis aswell and he had like 3 BC drop shots which sucked compared to the sick segment he had in long story shorty, i wanna know why o why he didnt film anything until now!

DO YOU READ ANYTHING? He hurt himself like 2 years in a row. He had two shots in Turbo, which came out last fall. He has been pretty healthy all year and filmed with level 1 this season. He has never really filmed with Rage or Poorboyz so why would he film with them? I think he'll have some sort of a segment in Refresh.

He tore 2 acl's in 2 seasons. I saw him up at momentum, killing it yet again. I do believe he landed a couple double flats up as well, so he's right back on the horse.

I don't remember him in TBC . . . at all.

I do remember him in High 5, Shanghai 6 (epic switch 7 off cliff), and then LSS. Then he blew his knees twice.

ahahah........... hes been filming with level 1 for the last 3 years (refresh , turbo , realtime) . and filming with poorboyz and other big companies is not about if your good or not , there are sooo much riders who have the talent to be in their movie , its about the sponsors you have .. if he would have been with salomon he would have filmed with poorboyz since a long time.

well in one of the shots in refresh he rodeo's off a super big cannon rail go im guessing hes back he films with level one becuase spy was his first legit sponsor and berman is SPy's manager so it kinda makes sense and he's been hurt the past 2 years

he's definitly one of my favorite skiers and he's from my hometown ^^, sucks that injuries held him back a bit. Hope he has a great seg in Refresh

yea he's back! In refresh and hopefully competing next year! He was doing dub corks and shit at momentum

I feel like it will just be a billion different styles pushing their own thing, and NS will be a war zone. But i'll always love it!

he was eaten by the RANCOR

That is one of my favorite tricks in LSS.

That whole segment was filmed in only a couple days at A51, if I'm not mistaken.

haha, teddybear crisis was actually the year before LSS, same year as Shanghai 6, which he also had a killer seg. watch the urban section of real time tho, he absolutely slays the urban.

he had like 4 shots in TBC, all on a cornice stepdown, all paired with the schiller and simms so they were all wearing the same white and green suit, so its somewhat hard to decifer when each part starts.

but he deff throws a sick switch over the stepdown

this video is really recent. he seems to be alright. hes amazing at rails for having not skiied for a few years

Had a bunch of sick urban shots in refresh right before he got injured at the US Open that year and a couple of shots in Turbo as well.

Vanular and Crichton were both two really progressive skiers who were on Dynastar. Dynastar gave Crichton a pro model a while ago. Crichton in Forward and Vanular in Shanghai Six and Long Story Short are up there with Pep in 1242 and Mik D in Exact Science as far as progressive segments go in my opinion. Anyways, Vanular was coaching at Momentum and was throwing doubles from what I heard. I was at CoC so I only got to talk to him in the village but he said he was learning a bunch of new tricks. Hopefully he will be back in full force this season!
