What happen when cops roll up to your urban sesh?

I've never had the cops, just old grannys who stand at the bottom of the rail and won't move So i 270 pretzel to 270 tap on their neck so their head rolls off......

Jokes we just tell them we'll never do it again and wait until they go away.

Thats usually all it takes. Most cops are good doods, they just don't want the hassle you know?
 
They ask you to clean up and leave. One time this security guard asked us to leave, and told us about some other rail at a different condo that he didn't have to patrol.
 
crazy story

didnt happen to me but happened to my buddies. there were like 3 dudes walking to (not hitting) this urban rail in colorado, apparently its super famous for getting busted at, but they obv didn't know that. So they have their boards and super nice camera in hand, when a lady cop rolls up and FLIPS out. She calls for backup, takes the boys' boards and gives them each like 500$ tickets for thinking about hitting this urban rail. The cops were like bragging about how they have taken many boards and super fancy cameras from "punks like you." They all had court dates that they never attended, never saw their boards again. I would have ran for my skis lives!!!!!
 
on time were at this condo pretty nice set up was pretty stoked on it spent like 2 hours on the set up cause there was 2 rails in a row and we wanted to do a legit job were all ready my buddy drops in has an ok line first try type thing as soon as he gets to the bottum some lady fuckin ran out screaming for us to get of her property or she was calling the cops

very disappointing day
 
I have had multiple run ins with the po po in New York. Depending on where the setup is the time of day plays an issue.

One time in Troy I was hitting the "white monster" which is this like 80ft c rail. The security came out from the retirement homes because some old lady complained that we were jumping. The security came out and said we could not jump there. I replied well we are not really jumping. Then they started to figure out what we were doing and were like "holy shit". Then they let me hitting a bunch more times because I said I was just trying to get to the end of this thing.

shit was pretty funny
 
That has happened to me as well, in Norway. But, i've also heard about sessions ending with getting a 1000 $ fine.
 
Most of the time we just try to be polite about it and the cops are just as nice. But when you're a dick, so are the cops.
 
ive had a couple cops just show up cause some asshole called them, and give us the okay. others have been like, sorry dudes but this is private property and i have to ask you to leave. weve actually never run into one that was a dick or made us leave just cause he had a problem with us
 
most of the time they just make you take down the lip and go away. i've heard some good stories of kids getting vandalism/trespassing tickets and stuff like that but nothing too serious
 
As long as you're polite and respectful, 99% of cops will not get you in any kind of trouble. Remember, every time they hand out a ticket, etc it makes more work for them.
 
I got caught with some friends on campus hitting urban rails... Then campus po po rolled up and told us to simply clean up and leave. My dumb ass friend decided he was tough and said "you arent real cops" then proceeded to hit the rail. Then he found out those "not so real cops" could do harmful things. He almost got suspended and was put basically on probabtion on campus and we all for some reason lost our parking passes for the rest of the semester. I guess it was the best punishment they could come up with? (Even though WE werent idiots...He was)
 
Yeah, Police don´t give a shit, the people who get mad are old skanky bitches going on about private property and us making it "impossible" for other people to use the stairs.
 
I am worried that if we go session some urban that we might get some ridiculous fine that icant afford so i still havnt done it.

Is it rare or impossible to get one if there is no signs posted of private property, or no skate boarding. And if you are polite and take it down if they ask you to?
 
this kid told me a story about some of his friends who were doing some rails and filming, and the cops took the camera as evidence, and in thier court date they played back the whole tape, it had footy from hitting a lot of urban rails around the area. they never saw the tape again.
in my experence if u do it at a condo spot, just tell them u r building a snowfort and they leave u alone
 
Man I really want to do some urban this year at UVM but I am afraid of the popo coming. I have a really good idea that I know would not end well if I got caught haha.
 
Some of them are freeeaking out, some of them are chill. Last week it snowed a bit here and we went check a unknown spot. It's some kind of handicapped summer camp and there is a BUNCH, and believe me, a HUUUUGE BUNCH of urbans it's like a jib park it's crazy. So we start setting up a rail and 5 minutes later this guy in charge of the landscaping comes up with his tractor, puts the "harms" of it just under our car and screams at us "if any of you fucker try to hit this ramp I jack the car and flip it on the other side of it". So obviously we left haha, and later on i heard that he did flip the car of some snowboarders last winter. fucked up dude.
 
we had one that made sure we had a camera to film it and then proceded to make fun of us because we had school the next day so we couldnt go to our mtn like he got to. haha i guess cops can actualy be cool
 
haha! has anybody seen the guy who skis down the escalator in Angel tube station? not really "urban rail" but kinda like "urban skiing..." but underground.....
 
you say fuck you coppers you'll never stop the disorder. then you steal somones bike and ride away real fast
 
last week a cop rolled up and told us they had received complaints and we couldnt ski or board there...then after a short pause he said "no im just kidding...im just pissed that im having to work while everyone is enjoying the fresh snow..."

pretty legit but unfortunately not the norm...
