What got you into park?

Riding jumps on a mountain bike. The ski park has jumps, so I had to hit those too. Naturally started to hit the other stuff in the park as time went on.

Seeing 1242 for the first time when it came out being 11 or 12 I was floored at the time. the pep segment is still one of my favorites to this day.

When I started skiing max hill was skiing the same small east coast hill I was. Watching him in the park blew my mind I can vividly remember a perfect spring day watching him do the biggest cork 5 transfers and just wanting to watch him ski not even caring about doing laps myself. Started spending some time in the park and was absolutely blessed to see a bunch of guys killing it in the park any given day like cole drexler, Matt brindisi, a young jarrad mccarl and young Matt Wilcox. Max hill is still to this day one of my favourite skiiers and it blows my mind he used to hop on a 2 man chair with a pre teen kid who could barely ski like me and shoot the shit the whole way up. Genuinely such a nice guy stoked to see he started a coaching program with Corey vanular but kinda jealous of the kids that have them as coaches.

Sick origin story and damn, yeah those kids have no idea how lucky they are.

First time I saw The Playground. It was 1999 and Le Relais has a pro park (even featured in freeze) and the 3 phils, MA Belliveau and the kids in the acrobatic team blew my mind. At the same time, I was inspired because it looked like they were having so much fun.

Next was Tanner Hall in ski movie 3. Unreal how smooth everything was. From then, I was addicted to skiing all together.

Grew up watching x-games and going alpine skiing on holidays. Then had the opportunity to ride it in school with lessons for a year. (Boarding school) Hooked on the first lap fr.

Definitely seeing someone hit a blunt 5 right in front of me. I went off the jump right on his ass by accident and was literally shook. I knew that had to be me, at some point in my life, at any cost. He was weightless, free, floating like a swagged out butterfly. Luckily he was cool about it when I apologized for tailing him so hard ?
