I plan on skiing 60+ days this year and I need a solid pair.

If you're after a more sturdy pair of pigskin mitts, Kincos are the best value for money.

Otherwise flylow is allgooood

for $16 those flylows are pretty good deal. I have a pair of kinco 901t's and love them, definitely sno-seal them though, it may not seem like it but if untreated they are literally sponges

Pow stealth gtx. I havent used it for skiing, but when I used it for a pickup hockey game at my local rink for a couple hours, they worked just fine. Really solid mitts and nice fit. Glove option if you prefer that.

Sorry for the self promo but we're running a promo right now where each pole purchase gets a free pair of mitts just comment your size in the order comments S/M/L... buy them, or don't, up to you.

Do you need to snoseal your mittens?

They should last a while on their own however I would recommend doing a waterproofing for the spring as the warmer water temps can cause the deerskin to absorb more

KINCO OR FLYLOW

THIS THIS THIS. Hestra makes amazing gloves and I don't want to bash on them at all because they really are the best on the market but that being said, they are crazy expensive and yes you pay for quality but I tend to trash gloves by doing things like grabbing burning logs out of a fire (leather gloves work great for that) or getting nasty crap on them by working on my car or something. I would say get a pair of kinco gloves and a can of sno seal. Flylow gloves are esentially kinco gloves that have been sno sealed and are a little more flexible so you can grab small things. The nice thing about kinco is they are super cheap like 15 bucks vs 40 for flylow or like 150 for hestra. You definitely pay for quality but for me, and what I use my gloves for, I prefer kinco cus I can trash them and not feel bad.

Not quite. they are a little nicer leather I believe and they are a little more articulate so you can feel more in them and grab things better especially if they are small. they are also sno sealed and baked which kinco is not. That being said, if you get a can of sno seal it takes 15 minutes to snow seal them and I don't care about being able to articulate my fingers more so kinco for me
