unless you can verify, I'm not buying it. If i were sitting in my kitchen with a crustless tuna sandwich and wondering to put on it, I'd reach for the bacon without hesitation.

but how about tapioca pudding? Or...coffee cake?

That said, bacon is definitely more versatile and I love me some good applewood smoked bacon on a cheeseburger.
 
I'm personally not a fan of sweet stuff combined with bacon in the same bit, but I can see why people like it (maple syrup and whatnot). I still will have a side of bacon with pancakes though!
 
I don't like bacon when it's got a bunch of maple syrup on it even though i like maple syrup cured bacon. Might just be me though.

whats really good is to sprinkle brown sugar and honey on it when its frying. Meat candy :) I would make a ton and put it in a zip lock bag and then in my snow pants pocket and have chair lift snacks.
