Poor guy. Ski video production companies don't pay their athletes shit.

The athletes sponsors pay the production companies tens of thousands to sponsor the flicks to get their athletes featured and more clips.

A guy like Berman from Level 1 has been known to send his movies own athletes invoices for shit like splitting rental cars, lodging etc. at the end of the season many months later. Certainly not paying them lol.

Decently accurate, but take a zero off that and it's a bit closer, no way a sponsor other than redbull pays more than 5 figures to sponsor a movie, at least a urban/park shoot movie.

Fucking stupid, rail jams do better than this. A local one pays out $500 - the fact that superuknown pays $1000 is retarded and kinda selfish. Used to be $4000 or $5000 like 2-3 years ago if that
 
Hornbeck touched on this in the LAFA interview for Snow Cities Michigan. He said that the riders pay for almost everything in the movie. In return they get to have a great time traveling and filming and the prospect of gaining more sponsors and recognition if they put out a good seg.
