"What easier Scootering or Rollerblading?"

I think scootering would be more easier then rollerblading, but people have different opinion on here, so tell me yours. I know this is pointless so write what you want.

Dude no doubt lollerblading is like the easiest sport, you don't even need to kick or anything just lean forward and go. Tricks are soooooo much easier on blades too, like I was grindsliding and stair-leaping on my first day. Although I must say it still looks less gay than standing on a scooter even if you guys can do tailwhips......sort of.

didin't you make a thread asking if biking or skateboarding was easier ? im gonna say scootering is deffinatly harder

you guys insane? scootering would be way easier. rollerblading you have like forward and backwards balence issues, all that shit. scootering isnt a sport.

Is this supposed to be sarcastic? I hope so because yes sliding a rail like you would on skis is extremely easy but it's a lot harder to do the different kinds of grinds with 270+ in/out and multiple switchups lol...Just sayin it's easiest to start but actually getting good at it is a different story...

When I'm unsure of sarcasm I'll look into the members details a bit to try and figure it out for myself. Check some of my profile pics and I'm sure you could figure it out.

I'm a rollerblader... But I'm guessing you guys haven't seen this video, which I saw last night. The guy is fucking nuts!

I don't know. Being good at rollerblading would be hard for sure, and doing backflip variations would be very difficult as well. I have no idea, and don't feel like thinking about something like this.

anyone who thinks rollerblading is easy has either never tried it or they are just simply a fool.

ive been rollerblading for about 7 years and nothing brightens my day more than to have some overweight fuck with a hurley shirt on call me a fruitbooter and say my shits easy, while he struggles to do an ollie and stay on his board...

bikers are the same way...

ive found the only people who hate on rollerblading are the noobs trying to skateboard and bike... im friends with a ton of skateboarders and bikers who are skilled and have been doing it for a long time... and they never hate and they respect what rollerbladers do...

noobs need to shut their mouths, put that skateboard down and go back to soccer practice.

Well put, I've found that anybody that has any skill on whatever they're riding usually has pretty much respect for any other action sport.

I'm a blader also and have been at it for about 15 years, I ride with skilled bikers and boarders all the time and never catch shit. I also get the fruitbooter calls from tommy 12 year old and his buddies trying to drop the local three stepper.

when i was in college, i had to write an article on the new skatepark in town for the newspaper, and i interviewed this kid who was riding a razor scooter on the park's opening day. he was about 10 years old and was cutting skaters and bikers off, riding through the bottom of the halfpipe while people were in it, just getting in the way all over the place.

he told me he was probably the first or second best scooter-er in the whole town and can do tricks. then he did a "bunny hop" about 2-4 inches in the air, but didnt land back on the scooter with both his feet. he only got one back on and just stood on the ground with the other one.

therefore, scootering is harder because there were tons of kids on rollerblades doing difficult looking grinds and getting decent air out of the halfpipe, but the first or second best scooter-er in the whole town of 15k people was still having the toughest time with bunny hops.

omg anyone who thinks rollerblading is easy has either never tried it, thinks theyre great at whatevr they do but isnt, or has tried it and got the basic sideways grind and or soul and didnt think to take it to another level like trying something hard like all the other grinds and variations and switch ups and then maybe trying it on a rail the is more than 2 inches off the ground. same aplies for jumps and drops DONT GET A 180 DOWN 2 FOOT DROP AND HANG UP R SKATES CUZ UR TOO GOOD. try something that maybe considered even remotly difficult

TRUTH: I think rollerblading is easier to learn easy tricks but to get really good at it its really hard, and scootering is just kinda in the middle.

Rollerblading is hard to start out on because of balance. Scootering is easy to start out on.

They are both really hard to do good tricks on though.

Whoever says rollerblading is easy they are wrong. Yes skateboard tricks are very hard but we as rollers push the sport of rollerblading to a new level. Its not what i used to be with 5 guys lining up to hit 1 rail doing gay lock on tricks. It has evolved into a high scale sport that most people cant perform in. whens the last time you have 540ed diastered a 10 ft gap to a down rail or a cab 7 over a 31 set? It is still very underestimated and sooner or later your all gonna have to admit it is what it is

i scooter and have never rollerbladed

but im pretty good at scootering. i can do tailwhips, downside whips, 360s, etc.

learning hard tricks on scooters is so hard. i just learned 180s and am getting switch riding down. but like bri whips are the hardest trick ever. and i cant get a double tailwhip at all.

getting down the basics on a scooter are way harder in my opinion like switch, tailwhips, 3s.

but grinds and stuff are much harder on blades

Dude its all in your opinion. Some people are naturally good at rollerblading and prob couldnt scooter no matter how hard he tried. Vice versa, its all personal opinon. Its like asking is english or history harder? Its diffrent for everyone.
