Skiing takes me away from reality. It lifts me up to a place where all my worries are gone. When you are skiing you get the freedom to choose what will come next, (turn here, jump there, bust a corked 5 in the park), noone tells you what to do next. Without skiing there is no reason to live. It's why the weekend can't wait. It's also why as the week comes to an end, your school work gets less and less finished. It gives someone with an otherwise dull life a chance to show the world what your made of.
As for others on the hill. Skiers rule. There's nothing else to say. Snowboarders can say what they want, but nothing comes close to sking. There's to many snowboarders that do it cause there friends do. Then they just sit in the middle of runs, or at the top of the park and dis the skiers. While they can barely even board. To ski shows that you are determined to stand out in a croud. To board means that you are a pussy that is affected by what others think, and you have no hand-eye cordination.
