go for it. also check out a PRS mira. very cool guitar. the neck is reminiscent of a gibson, but lower profile.

I'll look into it. I saw a demo of the Mira once, and it sounded fantastic. There's still something magic about tele's though. I need to look more into it.

I have always prefered a prs over a fender.

gibsons are my personal favorite though. pick up an SG standard with coiltapping.
