What do you use to download music?

Sorry I know there would be a thread about this but the search bar is broken...

I used to have Kazaa Lite but now that I re-installed it it never connects. What other programs are good and dont fuck up your computer with spy-ware and virus'. Any help would be appreciated.

old version of limewire is safe... new one has mass spyware. if you download the limewire pro off a hack you can be free of infection

yea it becomes inevitable. I have used ares in the past not for long but it worked fine had a good selection.

If u use it unshare all your files though!!

my comp doesnt get fucked up with limewire.. ill use limewire and azureus simultaneously and nothing bad usually happens. sure if my comp has been up for 6 days then it might crash

If you want safe but slow downloads get Shareaza. I haven't found a bad song yet. And no bugs too. But downloading is so slow.

werd. torrents are good for albums and limewire is good for singles.

i also use DC++ and soulseek (in addition to limewire), nothing bad happesn to my comp but i run adaware every week.

then go to (just one of many sites) www.mininova.org to download stuff.

I downloaded Limewire and then just downloaded Limewire PRO off of Limewire. Turbocharged downloads and no adware or spyware.
