This season, is the best season ever.I've started newschool, first time

it was painful and scarry,i crashed like shit and stuff. So the beginning was pretty lame.In the mid of the season i went to USA,and had a chance to ski 2 times at northstar. Those 2 days were awesome. When i got back to Russia, all my fears seemed to run away.My biggest fear was to do shit on big things, like medium sized spines, and mostly big airs. When i overwhelmed my fears, this season has turned into a fairy story, but i am really conserned about tricks, instead of learning tons of tricks,i've used this season to learn to do my simple stuff on bigger things.

HERE IS MY SEASON SUMMARY:

180 safety(smooth as hell,really sick)

360(well sick too, workin on it,but its already good)

slide on box,to switch, and to regular

Some nice wallride stuff.

Jump tricks were made on 8 meter table spine, and 8 meter table big air(1 meter=100cm,1 feet=30cm aprox.)

on the big air I almost every time fly to the very bottom of landing with both tricks,so i go pretty huge,on the spine i overshoot the landing with 180 easely and steeeeezely,so i go really huge there either and with style.

AND HERE IS THE QUESTION:did i do right than learned big stuff instead of learning more tech things? and tried to make them look coool.

and 8

yeah sounds liek a pretty sick first season in the park, with i had progressed that much my first year, now that you have the basics down, strat bringing in th more tech tricks like 5's and switch take-off, but make sure u have enough speed going switch, i have the tendency to speed chck way more, just tak th same line as for reg and u should be fine, huge switch 1's are dope

I do switch 1,but on smaller shit,i also land switch in pow pretty good and i can carve switch in pow either.

Sick dude, it's definitely way better to go big and do simple tricks than try to learn more tech stuff on smaller jumps. There's way too many kids out there claiming cork 9s who have never hit a jump bigger than a 15-foot table. Learning how to go big smoothly, and then slowly stepping up the rotations is for sure the way to go. Next year get real comfortable with that 360 over a big jump, and then bring it around to 540!

yeah man,i totally agree with you-goin bigger always better.)

And for next season i plan to hit 540 on that 8 meter bigair, stomp my 1 and 3 on something bigger like 42feet bigair maybe, add style(grabs and stuff) and maybe if ill sucseed all that,i ll try to learn switch things...dam thats gonna be such a sick season.

sweet.

I don't have a park so I've had to learn the 3 over 2 years and I just progressed to the 5 and working on the 7 next year.

Carving switch in pow is gnarly.

Is getting better and better.2 years ago it sucked TOTALLY ,cause there were no newschool skiers at all, maybe 2 or 3((.

And in russia it is snowboardboom, now it is goin down, but 2 or 3 years ago,U WOULD NEVER SEE A YOUNG GUY SKIIN!And on every board there were stickers:ski must DIE!IT was so fucking stupid gayness.I am skiing for 9 years now(i was in sport school years ago)and every snowboarder asked me:WHY DO U SKI???SKIING IS FOR GRANNIES!Those were bad times, but in an year or two everything changed, newschool gear appeared in shops, few guys began to jump in board parks,so finnaly i got a possibility to do stuff i ve only saw over internet-FREESKI.Currently newschool develops fast, very few riders,if compared to snowboarders, but every skier RIPS,and amost all snowboarders hang out on the mountain, show off with their expensive gear....

and dont do stuff----LAME.

We ve got one really sick rider-Pavel Korpachev- he throws corkscrew 900 tailgrab, and shit like that so we re gettin fine: http://www.twintip.ru/twintip/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=128&cat=0&pos=0 it is a link to Korpachev cork nine, click on it to make it bigger.

i think you took a real good aproach. getting the basics down and making them solid gives a good base to work from. this helps you with fundamentals and with other tricks and features later on. keep up the good work.
