What do you think the answer is???

IM asking a completley open ended question here..Is it better to eat healthily all the time, or should we allow ourselves to indulge once in a while? Similarly, does this argument apply to drug use – even illegal drug use?

I don't think this is an opinion question. It's good to have greasy foods and indulge because greasy food not only keeps you regular but also builds up the mucus and stomach fluids that line your intestinal tract. Vegans are more likely to suffer from colon and stomach cancers.

on the real doe, a little bad is good for you. eating only health foods is certainly great, but it makes your body weaker. it's similar to how living in a totally disinfected world makes the immune system weak. if you're not exposed to the less desirable things for your body, your body won't know how to handle them. hence why most kids born after 2002 or so have zero immune system.

I think this question is developing nicley let me throw a curveball.. We all know tht these foods or drugs we indulge in are bad for us so why do we have the urge to use or eat them i always found human temptaion intresting haha mabey getting a little to serious

we want what's forbidden, simple as that. we know we're not supposed to smoke cigarettes, but dammit they're so satisfying. adam & eve.

its not as simple as that.. a freakin hamburger and fries and soda tastes better than leaves and water. whats bad for you tastes better. simple as that

I'd say indulge once in a while, that's how I grew up and it's worked out pretty sweet. It was always like once every week or two I got a treat and the rest was organic vegetarian food.

I think the best way to explain that wild be the Adam and eve theory of wanting basically to us we want what we can't have and what we have we don't want or appreciate and therefore try and test

Psychedelic drugs have an ancient history of use, 4000 year old marijuana has been found in Chinese storage containers, the Aztec people used psilocybin mushrooms for religious purposes, peyote has a long tradition of ceremonial use, and the shamans of the amazon have used not only Ayahuasca (DMT) for a very long time, but also a myriad of drugs that very, very few westerners have seen, heard of, experienced, and definitely not experienced to the degree that these people did. These plants have long been the subject of study and curiosity, many academics have had a great degree of interest in them, and many psychologists have made their careers off of LSD. Drugs are SUCH an integral part of our society, but we usually choose a couple that are sanctioned, and vilify the rest for the sake of control (social, economic, and political).

It is naive to assume that

a) drugs are bad for you, and

b) drugs are recent cultural developments

how's that for a curveball?

(that said, everything in moderation.... you can get ulcers from mushrooms, and really lose yourself for a while from a bad trip. psychedelics are not toys which is why they're ceremonialized in most societies that used them effectively)

Fats and sugars are good for us in certain amounts. Fats and sugars are very rare in nature, so we developed a preference for those foods through the process of evolution. Technological advancement has made fats and sugars readily available in most parts of the world. Instead of hiking 10 miles for some berries, we can pick up a pound of chocolate at the store; therein lies the problem. With drugs it depends on which drug you're talking about. But generally, it's natural curiosity combined with social influences the first time someone tries a drug. After that, it's because the drug creates pleasurable feelings or has addictive properties or both.

i believe it's healthiest to eat frequently, but a slightly lesser amount. you want to spread out your meals over the course of a day and not have a pile of food once, wait 10 hours, have another pile of food..

and for drugs? probably the opposite. you don't want your body to get in the habit of expecting drugs at regular intervals, so if you space it out, take a pile of drugs one time, don't for a while, take more another time, it'll probably be the best in terms of not developing an addiction or training your body to grow dependent on them.

Well for your health it's ofc better to eat healthily all the time and not do drugs but if u don't go over the line with them it's okay i guess. Moderation is the key.

except for weed. i read an article somehwere that weed makes you super human while you are high, but then once the thc is done with the high stuffs you become normal... so SMOKE WEED ALL DAY.

Do what makes you happy. If eating everything and anything makes you happy, but dealing with disgusted looks, and general prejudice against you doesnt, then you arent happy.

there is a fine line, a balance between chasing what you want to become, and living for the moment and being happy in the moment.

you can eat heathly and indulge at the same time.

With drugs an alcohol, I like moderation. I don't get teetotalers who do it for the heath reasons. I mean something is gonna kill us one day anyways. I've got a friend who legitimately thinks a coca-cola is better for you than a quality beer because alcohol is poisonous.

this. i used to be pretty overweight, and i wasn't happy with the way i was, so i changed things up and started to eat really healthy and exercise. i used to love to eat bad foods and i would eat everything all the time. during and after i started losing weight i was very critical about my diet and i would freak out anytime i ate something bad. now, i've learned that its all about moderation. i still eat extremely healthy, but eating bad every once in a while isn't going to hurt me. a healthy lifestyle is all about balance and moderation. i like to indulge sometimes but i make sure to keep exercising and not binge on bad foods.

as for drugs and alcohol. i don't like to drink and i never really have. i haven't ever felt the need to do drugs other than weed, but that could change, who knows.

its healthier to eat healthy all the time but then if you eat junk food or whatever it will probably make you sick. so i guess its better to eat it once in a while as long as you exercise who cares

well you only live once, and I don't care what others say oreo cookies and chips taste amazing
