I was thinkin that i wish i coulda saw candide fall on that rail at the x games just to know what was going on and then i thought it would be cool if espn made like a real of all the previous x games high lights (runs/tricks) for skiing and snowboarding i thought it would be pretty sick but it would have to be edited by like berman and jonny or some one who wasn't a t.v. broadcaster or affiliated with espn for obvious reasons

I think it's a great idea, but if it ever happened (and actually, I think that they've actually made some "Best of" X Games dvds) they'd almost certainly do it in-house rather than bring someone in who knew what they were actually talking about. It would be interesting though if a ski film producer approached ESPN to pitch it, who knows?

that would be pretty sweet, only if like u said johnny or someone un-affiliated with t.v. editied/comentated on it. anyway, maybe they will see this by some stroke of luck and will be inspired to do such a thing.

why shouldnt someone associated with tv do it? did you guys see the opening edit to the 05 open coverage? that was one of the cleanest and best flowing edits I have ever seen.

i worked at espn for 2 summers........don't you think they've hired some pretty competent editors? they are the largest sports network in the world - there's no reason not to do in-house. the editors there can do anything johnny or josh can, they just have less creative room cause they're working for a big company.
