What do you think of this car?

i don't own an audi but like most german cars they usually live up to their reputation of long lasting cars. It's an AWD and manual, which is good for driving on mountain roads. I'd say go for it, not too expensive, not that much mileage...

Audis are really expensive to maintain and stuff. You might be really lucky and get one that has very few problems, but when something breaks, be prepared to take it to a shop and pay a SHITLOAD to get it fixed. Even the parts are extremely expensive.

before buying it, look at reviews of that model in the blue book. see if it was a good year for audis, if it was reliable, if it was a car that had a lot of problems. just because it's an audi, doesn't necessarily mean it will be a great car. just do your research

sounds like a sick car, AWD and 5 speed. but yes, german cars are pricy to fix. one pair of brakepads on my VW were 60 bucks, for the cheapest ones. but yea, do some research.

i used to have an a4 quattro, was getting up there in miles (around 80,00) and had no problems with it, ... well until new orleans flood killed it. thats still a little ways from 120,000 but i can definitely see it working for a while. actually, check the date exacly, see what reviews and stuff, because mine was a 2000 and i remember that when i got mine audis were really reliable and had been for some years, but before that they were notoriously UNreliable, so try to check that out somehow

Early 90s and earlier Audis were unreliable, I think 95 should be good. Definitely check up on that. For the money, I'd rather get a newer car with less miles, though.

I'd second that, subaru's are really reliable cars. I doubt you'll find a 2002 wrx with 40, 000 miles on it for that cheap again tho.

Look at an outback or something

thats wht i was thinking...

just do your research cuz audi's used to suck and im not sure if they were good by the 90's or not

yeah im selling my eclipse because i got a 6 point ticket and a 500$ ticket, and i cant afford insruance. the audi is less then half of what my eclipse cost. and having problems with the A6 wouldnt be a probalm. im taking a class on car repair so it could almost be fun if it breaks down and i try to fix it. the only other things im looking at for like 5-6k or 4runners,pathfinders and imprezas

NO you have no idea, for VW's and Audi's, you need special VW/Audi tools for the job, not a standard socket wrench, your best bet is to buy a honda, or a subaru, both are bomb proof, and there are tons of parts for hondas so they're a cheap fix, i replaced my front bumper,a headlight and a corner light on my accord for like 300 bucks. my brother's VW for a similar fix was close to 900

I u like it first check when it got his last repairs, controls etc. But still for that kind of money u can get a better car and car that looks better coz this a4 looks like shit.

Serious dont buy european cars when u dont have they money to buy a real one. Coz that car is like 4000 dollars worth in europe.

vdubs and audi's start breaking down around 70,000 miles, and wheat i mean by that is don't buy this car, it's a piece, i've seen vdubs come into my uncles shop with 40k on em and need new transmissions, they were also just ranked by consumer reports to have one of the worst consumer ratings and easiest to break

for a 95' and 120,000 miles? haha you could prolly get something a little better. thats too much money for that car

yea i agree. also with such high milage it wont be long before its going to need work. even if it has recently been to the shop, its gona need work soon later.

most jap cars call for premium or 91 octane, it doesn't mean you have to, especially at this altitude where it makes zero difference, but I like too anyways as well just cause the manual says so and it gives the engine a little whine like a sc.
