What do you think of the wavy edge lib techs

they are great skis, the magnetraction is nice, a noticable improvment to regular edges. their skis are a ta on the heavy side though.

my friends got em and he loves em. they seem like a good ski fo tha eastern riders. the wavy edge holds better on ice and they can detune the edges for rails all the same.

they win.

yeah they are pretty sick on snowboards i hear just for more grip for shreddin... check out rides slimewalls for no rail stick they are sick, romes got something similar to it too

everyone says they wouldnt buy them unless they could try 'em out... libtech should do some demo days at big hills for sure...

theyre a tad on the heavy side, but magnatraction is so awesome. i want it to have my babies. And teach them math and english and a second language.

narrow ass snowboards are the future of skiing.

seriously.

This seem a bit ridiculous. The way I see it, they want to remain cool to their snowboard roots by not joining with skiiers, but want to make skis at the same time. It is ok to call skis skis.

it's sorta the same idea as atopmic selling them in 3's but lets the rider decide if they need 2 or 3 skis

yeah it's risky, i use a normal board and im FINE, but the magne traction (wavy edge) isnt for everyone, instead of turning wit entry and exit points on ur edge, u use the WHOLE edge, it's really like skateboarding, and it forces u to take a neutral stance to avoid catching. the only place i'd use em is park, because if u do rails but still love jumps u can fully detune or round off ur edges and they will grip similar to a normal ski.

it says in the catalogue "buy three". if they were sold in pairs u couldnt do that, now could u? and besides that's sick, if u break u replace, simple.

not indestructable, just better in terms of impact protection and damping (makes the board virtually chatter free when combined with their thin con silencer pads). use ur logic, softer means more scratches and dents, if they made that claim they'd be the laughing stock of snowboard companies.

i hate libtech in general. they're snowboards were shit, they're stupid ass 3ply skateboards were shit. they try to be innovative and "cool" but just sell shitty products.

punkindrublic probably doesnt even know anythin about lib. their skateboards are indestructible, and the graphic never fades due to the super slick bottom, makes em sick for rails so stfu

It's called Magnetraction. It provides more edge coverage. So you have more control on the snow. It looks pretty sick to me. if Travis Rice(a super good pro snowboarder) and all the Lib Tech skiers ride 'em and like 'em, then they must be good ya know?

like i said b4 it's a personal thing and i cant stress it enough, if u ride in an aggressive/biased stance whether it's skiing or boarding, mag may throw u off. it's a bitch to tune too, u need a special, smaller tool sold by one ball jay. MAGNETRACTION forces a neutral stance so u use the WHOLE edge to turn/stop. it's great for jib junkies who still might do some runs. it was said to be a little catchy on rails tho in the transworld goodwood review.

Yeah I talked to a guy at Snow Summit who had them and he said they carve really well on the ice. He was just using them for crusing though. In looking at them, they look solid.

i wanna try a set in the park to see if you can really dull them completley and ride legit the rest of the hill

umm if Wilson rips them and can throw triple backflips and mad crazy 7s off cliffs and such then ill give em a try
