Yah, ride what you want. i have nothing against skiboarding. It isns't compeltely easy. Those things are a lot harder to land on. So don't use the excuse thjat they are easier in all ways. Each winter sport wether it be skiing, skiboarding, or snowboarding, should be respected equally, because they are all difficult in tehir own respects.

The only thing going for them is the fact that they can do rollerblader tricks on rails, which is cool since you can't do it on skis, but also gay because they are rollerblader tricks.

 
I'm all for people doing whatever pleases them, but they should know they look pretty dumb on those little things. But it's up to them, I don't give em any guff on the hill.

you've gotta have mad balance to land on skiboards. although I think they look kind of silly, I think that taking a pair of skiboards out in the park for a day could help you improve your landing skills on skis.

and as far as skiboarders go, I have nothing against them at all. do what you want, and if you're good, I'll respect you. that goes for anything - people that are talented at what they do deserve respect.

i knwo two fruitbooters personally and they are pretty cool people, but i make fun of them for it all the time, and they get sooooo mad its funny, but i dont have anything against them.

yeah man there's nothing wrong w/it...i know A LOT of skiboarders who could whoop a lot of skiiers if you put them on skis. andy stewart, case in point. i'd still skiboard if i hadn't broken 5 pair that aren't being warrantied.

The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs.

I think that if you become a really good skiblader you should definately switch to skiing. Theres alot more to do on skis and you can learn to actually ride in powder and stuff too then. The only thing skiblades had over skis was that they could do switch stuff before us. Thats about it.

It doesn't matter to me what you ride, but I do give props to insane skiboarders like Andy Stewart. He has progressed the sport like mad. It's funny to see people's reactions to skiboarders now though, cuz like 1 year ago and everyone would be calling them cocksuckers.

dont think anything about them is respectable or in the least bit cool. what can you do on skiboards taht you cant do on skis. cant go as big, ski powder, park, rails just look lame on skiboards. my opinions...

 
Why don't you look at 95% of skiers on the mountain before you start calling skiboarders gay.

Also, why does everyone hate rollerbladers? I don't see how a bunch of 12 year old kids in hurley t-shirts that ride 150 dollar world industries boards because Tony Hawk told them too is any better than rollerblading.

 
I'm probably repeating what people have already said...but I didnt read through the post.

I dont have a problem with skiboarding, or skiboarders. Its just that I have never seen a skiboarder using skiblades for what they were invented for. I have never seen a skiboarder grind a rail! I have never seen a skiboarder do a 180, or a 360, or anything cool off of a jump. Oh well.

don't you guys realize your being just like snowboarders to skiers? Every day i hear someone complaining or whineing that some snowboarders dissed em in the park or cut them off or called skiing gay or whatever. Yet, most of you do the exact same to skiboarders. Think about it... how can you expect more popular sports like snowboarding to respect a sport like skiing when we can't respect one like skiboarding. All i can say is what goes around comes around. And as far as most boarders are concerned, they see skiing like most of you see skiboarding. So if u understand my point, than think about it, it makes sense.
