i personally think this only feulsls the racism even more. the fact that calling someone the n word is considered a crime against humanity, while a black player can say whatever he wants to a white player just seems ridiculous to me.
 
Obviously he shouldn't have said it and he knows it. However the FA stripping him of captaincy is a bit far, I always thought that was for the coach to decide and the FA took advantage of its power and got bit in the ass since Capelli quit.
 
hey he is the leader and face of one of the most recognizable sprots teams in the world. millions look up to him, and he know he represents that club/team.

he fucked up. plain and simple. probly said soemthing in the heat of the moment as he was heated over the dude stomping his ankles the whole game, but hey, he let that guy get in his head.

However, in sport i dont think you should be able to penalize name calling. you hate the other team, and want them to fail in every aspect of life in those 2 hours you are on the field with them. decency should go out the window, but in todays world of microphones, and cameras everywhere, what you say and do is literally broadcasted to the world.

 
oh god, you got my hopes up then

i cannot stand this guy, average footballer playing at a top club earning mad money. it's just his name keeping his career going at the moment, same with lampard and to an extent gerrard

as soon as england remove these self devout pricks from their team and focus on the next generation the better
