What do you think about stickers on your ski helmet?

ifeel like the ski the east stickers should be an exception to this rule for eastern skiers because it applies to them, sorta like having ur home mountains sticker on your helmet

I would only put an NS sticker on mine, if anything. I like my helmet to be stickerless for the most part. I don't know why, I always felt like a fool when I had stickers all over it.

I always get cought out when i see someone with all the new gear and then see the same sticker brands on there helmet. I tell my snowboarder mates to watch this guy cause he's got some big sponsers and then nothing happens. That kinda sucks so i don't get my hopes up anymore. Some stickers look ok though.

sticker orgy.

i wear a bunch of companies stickers who's clothes i dont even have and i want to look cool so i also wear tall tees...

jk

not really im a trendy

im a fan of keeping it clean.

I have a few diecuts and i keep it real mellow:

UNI on the front

UA on the side

ON3P on the other side.

NS on the back

and theres another i'm forgetting..

exactly! so annoying. honestly it annoys me when people have NS stickers and the blow hahaha idk why, die cuts are only what i would put on or else it gets bubbly and looks shittty

I have a 4frnt sticker, wutang sticker, level 1 sticker, and of course a newschoolers sticker. All white die-cuts. Keep it classy. Half the fun of stickers is getting them though

This thread's been dead for a while, but if I wanted to remove a sticker or two from my helmet, would there be a fade spot from the sun after I take them off? I've had the stickers on the helmet for two seasons now, anybody know?

There's nothing really wrong with stickers on your helmet. I don't mind doing a bit of free advertising for companies that I think deserve it. But it's definitely possible to over do it.

Only stickers i have and reasons... Level One Sticker-uhh cuz level 1 has gnarly edits

Steamboat 50 year anniversary- how many times does that happen?

Backcountry.com sticker-their like the skiing Illuminati that sells clothes and probably dosent hack things...

I had a RED-helmet covered in cloth, but the cloth was starting to rip and I was kind of bored of it so I tore it off.Now it's just some ugly beige plastic, I don't know what to do with it.

Since it's rather hard to paint plastic, I thought of sticking a billion stickers on it to cover everything.

Is there anyway this could be awesome or is it just going to suck a lot more then I have in mind right now?

If OP is indeed the wax company Butta, instead of worrying about stickers you should make a wax that's actually more effective than fucking mud.

My helmet, SkiTotal is my local shop, I use Smith goggles, I have K2 skis and I drink monster. As you can see i have sticker patches from stickers I peeled of a while ago. No love for NS, haven't gotten hold of som stickers so... The painted stuff is my usrnem.

I have aquired a fresh new black helmet though :)

They only reason I have decals on my helmet is so I can instantly recognize it between the fucking ocean of POC Receptors.

Stickers on a helmet look good, as long as the helmet isn't covered with them and if there is not many times the same stcker

I think of putting stickers on your helmets as a way of saying hey you guys have a sweet company, i like what you do, so i shall wear your sticker so others can see what you are doing

I dont feel like people should have to explain why they have certain stickers on their helmets... Just fucking put on stickers you think are nice, and from brands you like.

Its pretty easy to get carried away with stickers and have your helmet look like shit. I have usually 3 or 4 and switch them pretty often. Goo gone or nail polish remover gets rid of the sticky stuff left behind easily. Right now I have a windells sticker, ALS association, and monster energy

I have 16.5 stickers on my helmet- assorted companies/organizations that I support, plus the two home mountains. As long as every sticker has significance than it's alright, and try not to put them on the top of the helmet

I only have a few stickers on my Receptor Bug helmet. I have a Ski the East sticker, a Mountain Dew sticker I got at the Dew Tour the last time it was out in Vermont (so sad). Yet it feels awkward when some random people ask me if I'm sponsored by either of those companies.

Has anyone ever seen a helmet completely covered in stickers? Could that be nice?

Or has anyone ever tried to spraypaint their helmet?

Ive got an old helmet like that, Ill post a pic later when I get home.

Speaking to the dude who revived this thread, if your helmet is old enough that you want to take stickers off it, you should probably buy a new helmet. Helmets do have a static life, and technically should be replaced after any major impact, which most park rats have happen frequently. I know my motorcycle helmet, which is substantially nicer than my ski helmet needs to be replaced every 5 years, even if I never impact anything,

a few stickers that kinda blend with the helmet look good but have a ton piled on in my opinion doesn't look too good. my old helmet had a million stickers and now i hate the way it looks but my new one is matte black with just gloss black stickers i think it looks sick.
