What do you mean?

If someone asks you a question that you really don't want to answer just say "What do you mean?" I'm not kidding this is the greatest way to "win" an argument because what are they going to say back to that. I'm looking for similar catch phrases. Thoughts?

What if they repeat the question, and you look like an idiot or a douchebag?

I tend to do the death stare, feign disinterest, or actually let my ADD-addled brain lose interest.

I usually just go with "o rly?" Then if they reply, as they should, with "ya rly" I can then default to "o rly" again. Then if they reply with "ya rly," as they should, I can default back to "o rly." Then if they reply with "ya rly," as they should, I can default back to "o rly." Then if they reply with "ya rly," as they should, I can default back to "o rly." Until they go explain what they mean and actually know their shit and put your argument to shame. You're dumb.

this sounds like you dont want to admit that your idea is dumb so you used the comeback you told us you use when you are uncomfortable with replying to something

My neighbor from the dorms last year would always say What do ya mean? and You're not old enough constantly when he was high

this is like arguing with an idiot who is never going to get your point. and by the way, if you say what do you mean to this, you "win"
