What do you love about America?

Our country is often looked upon as lazy, fat, and unintelligent. We started off as the all the people Britain didn't want anymore. Still, America is unique, and rather special.

For me, I love seeing an old muscle car driving down a country road. Its hard to explain, but it reminds me of Smokey and the Bandit, freedom, and what America is all about.

What do you love about the land of the free?

 
One of the only really great things about America is the University education system. Thats why so many foreign people come here to study.
 
I've been in London and Paris for the past 10 days and three things I've noticed that I love America for that isn't in those two cities are free water at restaurants, free pop refills, and as much ketchup as you friggin want.
 
that fact that everyone else hates us just because we are so much better at nearly everything

same reason everyone hates LeBron. if he chose to play for your team you'd love him

 
tell me why then?

jealousy motherfuckers. not only is the standard of living in america fantastic we have the strongest military and the biggest economy.

we split an atom. we landed on the moon. what has your country done? i sure as hell didnt see a canadian flag on the moon
 
dude alot of people hate us because we all eat mcdonalds, little to no work ethic (i disagree with that one)we are all incosiderate loud assholes, and we are insanely wasteful.
 
stereotypes. i hate canada because they are all maple syrup drinking puck jockeys. and i hate the middle east because they are all terrorists.

I've been there once, and the best thing about it (L.A.) was the america only things, and being able to get anything you want. and the big city and beach.
 
I see your point here America has done lots of great things, but jealously is not why people hate america. The reason people hate america is that most Americans tend to be very arrogant and think that because they are American and born in the USA they are so much better than everyone else. I myself am not saying Canada is all that but i am trying to say that you are what is wrong with America. Its people like you that cause the stereo types against Americans. I myself have nothing against Americans but i do have something against ignorant douche bags like you.
 
the cheap food. cant beat ¢99 for a liter of mountain dew. and you dont have to fucking stand up when they play the anthem at school
 
That is by far the flattest tasting beer ever.

Also I don't see why you would glorify a country only because of the sheerest accident you have been born and brought up in that specific country but you haven't even left any significant mark on it at all.
