What do you hate the most at your park?

1. instructors bring their students through the park at the end of the run who ride over the lips of jumps
2. not a personal one but ive heard it alot. small hill with open park (no park pass anyone can waltz on in) so theres no inverted trix allowed. i personally dont care but some do

Straight up sheets of ice on landings cause people (mostly snowboarders, but some skiers) push the snow down to the bottom of the landing. And when I say ice I mean like you could play hockey on it...

I despise landing in iced moon cratersI don't like when people come in the park with racing skis and just jump off the side of the in runs for rails. just no. don't do that.

I hate this one ski instructor at my mountain that always brings his lessons through the park to practice turns on the landings.

Snowboarders!

But really, i just hate gapers who cut you off. I was at boreal yesterday, and there were a ton of gaper snowboarders who'd come up to a jump from the side, right in front of you, and try to carve off the lip like they saw some other guy do before them. The most popular trick in the park was definitely a backside 270 to faceplant.

parents who go down the park with their 3 year old i between their legs going over the lips of jumps and putting them on rails

Snowplowers and their ingnorant parents that zigzag through the park and stop in the middle of the in-run. For fuck sake, have some common sense, read the park rules, and if you can't keep your kid in the safe areas then go ski the "Green fluffy Bunny" trail

But then again...Without all this BS, what would we talk about on lift rides? The'yre the source of so much entertainment.

ate shit so hard last weekend, did a backside 450 off a picnic table like 5 runs before that, went to put my skis down to stomp and skis just slid out and i double ejected to elbow and ass smash on ice. Noob snowboarders had been just sliding down the landing. fuck!!!

i dont even know where to start. i think i hate the fact that they think they know whats theyre doing when they dont the most

parents putting their 5 year old on a rail and trying to push them ....

right in front of 20 people waiting to hit the box

i hate a certain rich fatass who thinks he's the shit at everything, but really he's a dicktoucher and his daddy pays off sponsors.
oh wait, the question was WHAT do you hate, not WHO...

i hate that the people who build the park are like 50 years old and have never skied, and dont trust us with shuvles

the fact that i have to build my park (build the features, set them up, and maintain them) and not get paid or recognized. but at least my mountain has a park now.

mad props to that dude i hate all the gapers that fuck the run outs up and gapers that snake your lines

Safety meetings on the knuckle of the jump ur trying hit... or when i see people wearing pittsburgh steelers stuff that really gets on my nerves

that my park crew sucks dick if i took a shit on the side of a hill it would be a better feature than they could make..

I hate my whole park

one small boarder cross jump

every rail set up for snowboarders.

a "superpipe" with one wall under vert and the other over vert.

my park just sucks balls

i ski powderhorn michigan alot bc my family and a few others rent ski in ski outs there alot. and the park absolutely sucks. On their website their like "our terrain park boasts one of the largest rails if not the largest rail in the midwest. Although we present a wide variety of jumps and other features as well." you can go into their terrain park and all there pretty much is is a big ass, fire truck red like 60 ft. rail staring you in the fucking face. Theres barely anything surrounding it thats halfway decent. Ive sent so many nasty fucking emails to them about it but when they respond with, "ill direct ur suggestions to our terrain park team" i can just see some old fat snow bunny handing over a copy of the email to a 60 year old gaper who thought it was a good idea to spend all the money for the terrain park on a giant ass rail. FML

i consider myself pretty lucky to have a park where we have to pay to get a card that opens the park's gate so no gapers everyday at every single rail/jumps.

but living in the east coast = Huge bomb holes to huge ice patch landings = really dangerous

this. especially when the park is made to flow through, so you land and get all squirrely and have a hard time keeping yo shit together enough to hit the next feature.
second on my list is parents bringing their children through the park "because the kids enjoy riding down the steep hills" aka landings. well no shit, all kids love that dropping sensation, but that doesn't mean you have to endanger anyone trying to hit that jump, including your family. take the beginners where they belong. there is nothing worse than hitting a jump and trying to spot a landing only to see mr. and mrs. joey following little snowplow dude down the landing at .3 mph. great....this is going to be enjoyable for all of us...bloaw

come on your being modest.....
Brighton is the biggest joke in the terrain park industry when East coast parks kill it harder than a Utah resort ....... its real sad. There park crew is super rude real bummer becuase I think the mountain has major potential
