i just got pipe cleaners today, in 181 got them mounted with fks 155's. i got them mounted at a shop in crested butte and told them to mount them center, he said he could do that. i picked up my skis and they were mounted on the line. what do you guys think i should do? these skis are pricey and its really frustrateing that they messed it up. should i call and complain? do you think it is worth it to get the skis remounted at center keeping in mind that there will be another set of holes in the skis?
 
same thing happened with my new t-halls except i didnt just tell him, i drew a line in sharpie on the ski exactly where i wanted it and tey still messed it up. i was pissed when i got to the shop so i had them remount them center and i got the mount for free and a 40 dollar credit. im still pissed, but its not that big of a deal.
 
if the mounter didnt write anything on the card, then your out of luck. same thing happened to me cept with pes. if he wrote it down bring them back and bitch at him and tell him to look at the contract you signed. if he didnt write anything down, jsut go and get them remounted, its usually cheaper for a remount than regular mounting its only like 25 bucks where i live. its not a big deal to remount except the little extra money and a little more time.
 
^^^^ ya i agree but if he did write somthing go back and make em buy u new decks cuz the old 1s remounted r weaker and its his fault go back bitch and sue lol get new 1s o ya have a mean face on when u go in
 
Go back and have him buy you new skis and mount remount. Don't pay for shit. He is making you wait for the new ones to come in so he should pay for it all.
 
ya it happened to me when i got my scratches mounted i wantecd centered told him center pick em up and they were line mounted but i didnt bitch cuz im sking some powder on em so its better off lol
 
well i bought them at colorado freeskier and had them mounted at butte and co. because cfs does not have the fks jig yet.
 
samething happened to me with my pes. i didnt go back i just left them where they mounted them. whatever just go talk to them.
 
take em back, try to get them to buy you new ones, which they probably wont... same thing with my red fugatives, i was so pissed, but left them where they mounted them, they just don't ride the same as true center mounts
 
your shop guy is lame first off.

second, it wont hurt your ski if you remount them.

the difference is pretty noticable.

that same thing happend to me last season with ar5's.

got em remounted and it was like heaven.

go and talk to em, i bet theyd change em for free.
 
You wont see any difference form the new holes

Just wonderin thought, do most people mount their pipe skis center?
