Alright, heres the situation. Last year i had 2 pairs of skis, both race skis, yes i know, i hate them now 2, they just hella fun to carve. But anyways, i had a pair of 170;s, with a rise plate and race bindings, so you can imagine these are pretty heft skis. My other pair of skis were 150's with tyroli 10$ bindings and they were mad light. So as i just got into park last year im getting some twins this year, but i just dont know what size to go for becuase i think 165-175 would be ok becuase my 170's were heavy as hell, like seriously tanks. But what do you guys think, without the riser plate and the heavy race binding and lighter skis, will i hbe able to handle something that big? 174ish? I like stiff skis that i can get a good carve out of but stiff doesnt always mean heavy. Do you think that the weight difference between my race skis and my new skis will be enough for me to be able to handle the bigger lenght?

does that make any sense?

just gimme some of your thoughts?

info:

5'8-5'9

130lbs.

yeah, im not new to park, like im just new to doing spins bigger then a 3, cuz i couldnt land backwards with my race skis, but i feel mad comfortable all over the mtn. so 170-175ish, i was spining 3's with my 150's lol, itll be something new to learn

yeah, you could go into something as high as a 179 ish..im 2 inches shorter than you, and im on 176...just centre mount...and they will feel shorter.

yeah, wat about the chronics? 172cm. How are they, ive heard mixed things about htem, too soft, too stiff? i like stiff skis what do you guys kno?
