i know, i know rastas played blabla

i like them, do you?

I dont think i like them, not really the colors though. Just the pointy shape maybe, actually I just looked at them on nike and their not bad, haha

nooo but thats just me, rasta is alright in small stuff like a little bracelet or maybe a belt but not shoes or a jacket naahmeann

you've gotta be able to rock them....those shoes would be terrible on most people, just depends on the style you're going for.

they are the best running shoes nike makes. i have a pair and like WOW they are seriously just fucking amazing.

those are the frees dude they look dope, but get em if your run xc and want to wear them at most 2 maybe 3 days a week instead of going bear foot on speed days, dont get em just to chill in, they wont treet your feet well

yeah, i know about frees and all, i was just wonderin what NS thinks about the colors... all my runnin friends think theyre sick, but whatever

theyre supposed to make your ankles stronger too, which i need because my ankles suck major dick

eh, maybe try something else for one of the colors, full out rasta looks like you went on nike.com and were like "ima make full rasta shoes"

Bumpin this thread to get some people's opinions on Nike Frees

I just got done reading Born to Run now I'm on this long distance minimalism running kick. I hear the Nike Frees are just about the most natural way of getting your foot to flex right and have pure strength next to Vibram 5 fingers or running barefoot.

I've been thinking about getting a pair because I'm really starting to notice how my Adreneline 8's are wayyy to supportive and my foot just isn't flexing right.

I hear the Free 5.0's have too big of a heel to get a nice running gate. What's everyone else's opinions on them who have researched or owned them?

Also, if I get these I'll plan on running in them every day. Sure you can tell me I'm an idiot but all the people I've come across saying you should only train lightly in these shoes are people who love 200 dollar running shoes that support every nook and cranny of your foot. Which is not what I want.

I'm also running a few miles a week barefoot on grass so my feet are pretty strong. I'm just looking for something I can run on pavement or a treadmill with and not look like a retard wearing Vibrams. Plus I wouldn't want to order 5 fingers online.

I just wanna say that I am not a runner, in any way, like I literally just can't do it because I hate it so much. I used to wear Asics and I started to enjoy running a little teeny bit because well I didn't get as much pain as I had before and well it felt good to run. Well I just bought myself a pair of Frees and now i run EVERDAY, and I look forward to it! They are honestly the greatest feeling shoe I've ever worn, ugly as fuck but so comfy.

What frees do you have? 5.0? And yes, this is the excitement I'm looking forward to. I can't wait to legitimately get back in to running.

only if you could pull it off/you own at running. or just wear skate shoes and destroy, and get an amazing rep.

Personally i think they look like shit, but they weigh like 1/4 of a pound total and that kick assness makes up for their looks.

i dont want to type out everything but i have worked in shoes stores for 9 years now and am a sneakerhead myself, i currently work for new balance but if you name a shoe i can tell you pretty much everything about it, i am a certified pedorthist as well so i can make insoles and shoe modifications. I know how to fit shoes and the type of support each style has. PM me if anybody has questions on fit and support.

With that said the nike free's are awesome for someone that has a high arch and doesnt need stability(most teenagers) extremly light weight and comfy, i prefer the nike air zoom hayward 3, very similar to the nike free's but it has a full length zoom air cushioning. Any questions PM me.

if you are using them for running...you shouldn't because nike will fuck up your feet
get some asics and fly
