In terms of graphics, during the last decade Nordica has easily won the most atrocious graphics award year in and year out.

I would go up a size, 170s will be too short. I would go for a ski between 175-182.

these graphics are a big improvement and the next size up is 177 i thought that would be a little too big.

The 177 would be the right choice for you. I'm an inch or two taller than you and ride 182s and they feel great.
