What do you drive?

2004 civic coupe! No AC but heat works just fine in the winter. With the back seat down you can fit a surprising large amount of gear. Amazing for heading up to the mountain with 1 friend and obviously good on gas at that point. My skis fit in all the way without coming into the front of the car and then there's more than enough room for food, bags and anything else you can think of. Only downside is that it's too small to put gear on in the car in any reasonable sort of comfort

well if we are bragging about our whips here we go:

-golf cart with snow tires around teton village

-3 speed cruiser bike

-ride the bus cuz my ski pass was expensive and bus rides are included

-skate longboards in town so I feel athletic when really I can't skate much at all

-05 dodge 2500 diesel w an 89 s&s hardside slide in camper for travel

06 4runner sport

'05 forester 2.5X, only downside is that it has an automatic trans :-(. Had a '98 ZJ prior to the Subie and got rid of it as soon as the rear diff was grinding, but now my future is paving the way for a third pedal ;-).

The mom-est wagon of them all. Vulva XC70 with a shitty rack and free skybox 16. Also has a +160 hp boost from all the stickers on it, that's how it works right? I wonder how it would be if I threw portal axles under it...

Back when the CRV was running well at Team O'Neil last summer, now she's got a broken driver side window, a stinky catalytic converter, rattling muffler, a 187k old b20 with no power uphill, but hardly any rust thank god. Hopefully can sell it soon and match the selling price on a decent car to head out west with, and actually take corners fast, look at that body roll, photographer was like "slow it down a bit you're about to 3 wheel her."

Honk at me if you ever see me around NH

'95 Honda Passport. Takes a minute to get up hills but it gets me there, and there's just enough room for me to sleep comfortably in the back (snuggled up to my sticks because I don't have a roof box or rack).

Pretty sure it's a +169 hp boost last I checked

2001 Xterra with the v6 and a 5 speed manual transmission. Fucker romps in the snow but the gas mileage is horrible. I think in the next year or two I'm gonna get a full sized truck.

877053.png03.5 gt28 mazdaspeed protege (currently blown up) Lmao

And an 06 g6 gt with a roof rack for the daily low key mobile

Subaru Legacy which is AWD and super spacious. I drove 10 hours from Ohio to VT last year overnight through rain, then ice, which turned to snow that dropped 12+in on the east coast last April. Im still alive. Basically can't go wrong with most 4WD/AWD vehicles.

I will say that the Nissan Rogue sucks. Rented that car when I was out west and it sucked in the snow. Its "intelligent AWD kept turning off whenever I would go faster than 25mph. It is a nice car otherwise.

Got it last year because my Blazer died hard. Had been looking for about a year at them, and love this one to death. So damn fun in the snow.

2008 FXT manual, bought in NH, brought out west

'08 the last year they made a manual transmission FXT, and IMO the last year before Subaru designs went to shit (when they put frames around the windows 2009+)

got it with only 29,954 original miles on the dash a few years ago, still can't believe that

heres an album from the previous owner showing the seats/gauges/etc https://imgur.com/a/OlnT2#21

2011 Ford F-150 3.5 L Eco Boost Super Crew 6.5' bed. 284 HP I'm pretty sure. Thing is bad ass.

2001 Volvo V70. 202,000 miles on it still running strong. Not a whole lotta clearance but a whole lotta trunk space.

It’s actually an F350 P-Stroke, mileage on my old 1985 k10 was a bitch and this thing is more reliable and gets better mileage

For those of us who don't live within walking distance of a lift, what do you drive to the mountain? Or probably more appropriate to this forum what does mom drive when she takes you to the ski hill?

I have a 2017 Tacoma double cab "work truck" with a bed top mount for the yakima skybox 12 for bad weather and a 2017 vw alltrack "family hauler" with the yakima box on the roof for spring days or when the forecast is clear for the duration of the trip, usually a long weekend in Tahoe. Alltrack pulls about 15mpg better than the Taco on highway trips which, from the bay area to Tahoe, the difference will buy us lunch.

I've driven in some horrific storms chained up in my old dodge neon which ruled in the snow, and a friends clapped out ford astro which sucked, and many cars in between.

I've been driving since a good portion of you were born.

I don't even drive my personal vehichle 2001 Honda Accord Coupe to work on the mtn, I get to drive an employee shuttle bus.. we keep our skis and gear in the compartment below, our bus is pretty leet, and I enjoy getting paid to drive, having space for my gear, and saving money on gas.

Im 15 i dont drive but if i did it would have to be a volvo station wagon or the Mitsubishi delica(4x4 van) search it up its lit

2016 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.

Great for hauling bikes+skis. Gas mileage isn't bad, but it isn't good.

Coming off a 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback with a 4-liter, it's great though when going up any hills.

1998 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. not awful on gas for a truck but all the joys of driving an old faithful 4x4. can't wait for winter with this one

Anyone in or around the Albany, NY area looking for a cheap ride, let me know. I'm trying to unload a 2000 Volvo V70 XC on the cheap - has about 145000 on the transmission. GREAT winter car since the thing drives like a fucking tank. Will even throw in a set of tires (good tread life left) with rims.
