What do you do with your old skis?

Dobies.

I have old skis that have acumliated from seasons and seasons of skiing, many of which are mounted 2-3 times and are pretty unusable. I've seen some pretty sick chairs made out of them.

Has anybody done anything cool with their old skis?

i took an old ski and some cheap rod iron hooks from home depot and made myself a coat/snow gear rack in my room. took me 15 mins tops and is sweet.

Built an Adirondack chair out of a bunch of old skis.

Made a shelf with coat hooks on the bottom to hang in my closet.

i have 2 old twin tip pairs, and i'm waiting on my next pair to be retired, so i can make a bench. and i'm going to use old straight skis for the arm rests.

if they're still skiable, and i mean barely, i market the skis on craigslist to new immigrants as a way to start the sport. works most of the time.

Theres some chairs at my local hill made entirely out of old skis. Cant say they weren't comfortable, but you would need several skis and some technical know-how.

My local hill has some ski chairs that look just like this. It seems to be a pretty generic design, but it also makes an awesome chair so who cares if it's not original.

Do yours look like that? Just wondering, because these chairs are just as comfy as any other Adirondack-style chair.

you gotta do a shotski!

and get the jagerbomb cups they use at the bar and put those on the ski so that you can do ...jagerbombskis (idk what to call it) but theyre rad
