its my first year skking and every one at my mountain says im a true natural i can do cork 3 with grabs cork 5 with grab slow 3's switch 540 switch 3 270 on rail and off and switch on and i also have some style but i think i can do alot better does any one think il be going any where as far as sponsers and stuuf and if not what should i learn
 
u need to have proper extension in ur kangs, or japans, it doesnt hurt to have hutonys down either
 
people who use the searchbar first usually become sponsored.,

well, at that rate, in four years you'll be doing sw 2160s. and 21s are so hot right now.

but seriously, try to get sponsored if you want to. The worst that can happen is you won't get sponsored. Win some comps, have fun, maybe you'll end up with somebody buying skis for you.
 
guys, he's 12... give the kid a break. call up a company and let them know what you're thinking. also, try putting a video together and send it in to a bunch of companies.

well u really should spell well and use correct grammar because, that will ne the first thing they notice like if u send in a tape that says

i want to get sponsERD they will be like wow what a dumbass, and from the beginning they will have a negative outlook.
 
you just hafta chill... ya feel. just chillax and ski yo best. i sent a tape last week ta line and I wuz hella just chillin and shit. like half tha footage wuz of me and my krew smokin' weeda and drinkin beer. shit nigga, my video was t-i-t-e! ya fool, but anywayz, just chill and add a seen of you smokin or fightin' someone, sponcers like action in movies aswell as da chillin.
 
havoc shut the hell up u r such a dumb ass. a company doesnt want someone who is a degenerate. They will think u are some idiot, smoking weed on a video will make the company think u are ignorant and fighting on a video will make u seem like u dont get along well with others. even if u are good and people see u are a degenerate they wont sponsor u because u would be bad for the teams image. companies dont just want good skiers they want people who will promote the company in a good way.

and for all of u who didnt know.

start out wiht a local ski shop before the big companies because you will have more of a chance and it looks better once you contact the biggger companies and the local shops can hook you up nicely

3th dont search for a sponsor doesnt work just ski and hook up with some sponsord guys... serious this is true. Dont look for them just ski nice win some comps and everything will come together!!
 
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhA thats pretty steezy i must say. ya definatly ditch the one piece its not that cool. especially the pink. and send in a video to smaller companies like 9thward, surface, liberty, etc because big companies have big names and dont need some random kid who is good. smaller companies will be more willing to check you out and sponsor you.
 
definatley talk to people at the shop you go to more, make a video, get into some comps... and that steezey one peice is nice!
