No one uses premiere; it sucks balls. I don't think anyone uses Vegas either; same reason
Almost anyone on a small budget (under a million or so) is using some form of final cut pro, 4-6.
The really big studios are still using avid, but many are switching over to final cut. Studio II is an amazing set of software, and to be honest final cut is now just as powerful if not more powerful then avid. It is also easier to use.
That is the editing program
For graphics affter effects is the indy way and I don't know what the big studios use.
