Just wondering what people thought of Linkin Park, some ppl say there gay and match up with evanescence. But i like them, i dont there anything like them...I think they put alot of meaning into there songs.

Hahaha "a lot of meaning," that's rich. Most of their songs seem to be pointless and made-up angst directed towards some madeup friend who betrayed, misled, or took advantage of them. Actually most of their songs sound like they are angry at their mentor or something. All that nu metal music is pure shit that has lame lyrics with absolutely no meaning whatsoever. Here, I'll right some Linkin park style lyrics.

great comparison!, linkin park is a male version of Evanescence, I dont like them very much but some songs are allright.

they suck in every sense of the word. any band with 2 lead singers that dont play instruments is pretty lame. also, they have like 5 djs, and a freakin synthesizer. make some actually good music on some damn guitars will ya please. seriously i garauntee that tom morello could play anything on their album with just the guitar. i think they have very little skill, are overplayed, and have very plain and boring lyrics that arent interisting, nor deep. overall, i think they fit in nicely with most of todays new music, which i have to say is very sad overall. it used to be that bands had to be actually good at playing instuments to be successful, now it is all marketing.

i find them to be no talent assclowns with boring songs and predictable lyrics designed to make angst ridden tweens feel like they 'get them'. i normally listen to rock stations but i change every time i hear linken park, or any of that Theory of a Nickel Creed shit.

taste, i dont taste music nor do i care. i listen to anything and everything because each person is unique. if you can withhold that into ur little mind you would see that all aspects of music have something differnt to offer.

i didnt know you got to make decisions for everyone, nor did i know that sales of linkin park were 0... obviously they have a big enough audience to keep making music so why judge everyone?

Second: this is a thread about what people think of Linkin Park, not about insulting people who like them or dislike them. If you're going to get all butt-hurt because I don't like overly emotional pop bullshit, then that's your problem. I didn't say people who listen to Linkin Park suck.

Third: what does my chode, or lack there of, have to with Linkin Park sucking? If I don't have a chode, does that mean that I'm a girl? If I am indeed a chick, that doesn't mean Linkin Park is good.

i def like the music. and the shit they did with jay-z? just sick. ultimate musical fusion... rap hero + metal... just so sick. some of their songs are a bit... pansy-ish. but for the most part, i like.

I dont like them, but I'm not anti-them. Some of the stuff with Jay Z was pretty cool, but I agree that the lyrics suck. That's ok for some people though. My buddy could listen to a song about bunny rabbits and llamas if the melody was cool. I'm sort of the opposite. All of their lyrics are generic and made for teenage kids who are pissed off that their parents didnt buy them that new thing they wanted.

Pop isnt going anywhere, unfortunatly.

not sure if you know d-loc, but withhold means to keep out, not be able to understand. so before you call someone dumb you might want to check your response.

also, i saw someone say that linkin park is metal??? how are they metal, do you know of any metal band that has a dj? also, no metal band whines about people not paying attention to them, and trying really hard but nothing mattering. i would say that metal is bands like metallica, salyer, etc. linkin park is definitely not metal, it is more like pop/rock.

they are good, well atleast they used to be, i thought they were going to come out with some kick ass album like last time and then they go join up with Jay-z, that guy is a faggot, all rapp is gay as hell and they never should ahve doen that so they basically ruined everything they had by doing that

I strongly dislike Linkin Park, but i agree with D-loc that bitching about music doesn't change anything, and they are probably somewhat (though not terribly) capable musicians. I do not like their music but oh well, some people do, and thats alright. Everyone has some bad music tastes.
