Damn dude, good luck with that I did the same thing about exactly a year ago.
Get some exercises to do, I'm pretty sure your doctor can give you some pre-op ones to do and they'll keep you busy. Boredom leads to depression/bad outlook.
Watch ski movies, can be depressing but they're awesome. Edit film if you have it. Get an xbox, play some COD. The hours melt away.
Definitely capitalize on A) the badassness of your injury to boost your street cred with dudes B) The sympathy from chicks (this can get you places)

Pick up a new TV show or two to watch, preferably with many seasons.
Basically just keep a good attitude about it, sometimes it's the price you pay for doing such a kickass sport. It really makes you thankful for every day that you ski once you get back. Good luck dude I gotta go write an essay.
