What DIN setting

i'm an upper level advanced (not park), and am starting to ski steeper, faster and do some smallish drops (10 feet or under, right now at least). However, in years past, i'd always just had my skis adjusted at a rental shop at the "type 3" setting. however, whenever i'd drop a small cornice in the middle of a line, or a small cliff my skis release. i want help knowing what DIN setting i should ski at, seeing as obviously the renal shops definition of "advanced" doesn't include drops and hucks.
I am 17 years old. 135 pounds, 5' 10" and ski on a 172 line blends. if anyone has suggestions, it would help alot. thanks.

shop tech will set that for you - bindings are different so the DIN on one pair might different than the same type of binding on the same ski - it's about the wear of the binding, boot type, spring tension, ect. Just bring them to the shop to get your bindings tested, your knees will thank you.

Honestly, I would start it out at 7, and if you prerelease, turn it up a half number. keep doing that until you like the Din setting.

Terrible idea, for all you know, the forward pressure could be off, which could cause them to prerelease even if the dins are turned way up/
