I thought it was pretty dope.

T Hall's switch backflip to redirect wallride was ill. same with his switch misty 900 in the backcountry.

having been through everything he's been through, amazing he can still get on skis and ride.

The old shots in that movie were from 2004. Let that sink in. That's over 12 years ago and thall has not stopped crushing it. Dude is 34 and doing switch double fronties in the backcountry and dub backying anything he wants. Sounds like his mind is in a great space too. Long live the Lion
 
Loved it, It was so sick seeing him crush the lines he did when he was younger. Every time he reskiied a line he did it arguably better and with a new twist.

I still find it hard to comprehend how some consider him old... He is only 34... I dont know about anyone here, but I plan on skiing till I die!
 
I think Triumph cemented Tanner as the greatest living legend skier. It's tough to make an argument against that.

Candide is still way better.. triumph was amazing but Candide is Jordan to Tanners magic Johnson
 
Love watching Tanner.

Cause it's proof that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Dude must be getting on 100 years old now but still improving and shredding harder than pretty much anyone else out there.

I'm 24 now and starting to think I missed my chance to become a proper freeskier, but Tanner proves if you put your mind to it - age is just a number.

Kelly slater is 43 and still top 5 in the world for surfing tanner is only 34 .. he's not 100 years old stop talking shit he has a shit load of petrol left in the tank.. the old guard of skiing still are the best. O one has surpassed Candide or Tanner.. no one except maybe Sammy Carlson but he's not as good as Candide.

Probably due to them wanting to allocate that money to younger shredders that are putting out more content and comp. results.

Sammy may be better than both Tanner and Candide, but no way will he ever have their status - he didn't do enough to change game.

Sammy is not nearly as good as Candide.. I don't think you understand how fast Candide skis.. all those pillow lines Sammy does are I. Perfect conditions .. one of those days is high speed In bounds chopped up shit .. Candide is on another level period .. you can't even fathom how good Candide is till you see him ski in person.

I know who you are , and if you were working with Rossi when Candide was on the team then you get he's the best ever x 10. Sammy is amazing though he's taken the number 2 spot away from Tanner.. Cr Johnson pre first injury was the closest anyone has gotten to Candide level in my opinion. Sean p is catching up to same with Parker White. But all these skiers ski with sleds in the North American Bc. Most of Candides stuff is in super euro resort lines with people around tracking honour stuff and bumps and skin tracks ect.. Candide is he best snow athlete of all time hands down only two people coming. Close are Travis Rice and John Jackson

i think Candide and Sammy are both unreal - it doesn't even make sense to argue who is better. Sean Pettit is ridiculous, too. no, i never worked for Rossi. but Rossi is the name of my dog.

100% agree. Even after his injury he was still skiing smoother than most people to ever touch snow.

Parker White and Sean P are getting close, though.

Would love to see more from Leo Tailifer as well, don't see or hear too much from him, but his VooDoo segment or whatever it was called was insane.

uh, do you know who sammy is at all? he hit a massive long jump switch. I'm not going to say anything to take down Candide, but Sammy is way better than you have in your mind.

HaHa! WORD. They each got their own distinctive style too...

Tanner Hall sends extremely crazy and creative shit I never thought was possible, definitely has "the balls" as they say... Sammy Carlson has in my opinion awesome line choice, he makes super technical lines seem suuuuper playful, puts me in a good mood watching him. Candide Thovex is definitley the king of cool, he just makes it seem like he's in control ans knows exactly what's going. If I had one word for Candide it would be "impressive"

They're all pushing the sport and I dig it!

I thought it was great to see tanner sending it so hard. The dude had been such a solid skier for so long its amazing. Tons of big shit in the film too.
 
Why are there arguments about who is the best skier ever? It's like the NBA argument of Jordan vs LeBron. We will never see everybody agree on "The greatest of all time", so arguing about it is completely fucking pointless. You fan-boys should focus on your own skiing.

agreed. Can someone point me in the direction of the man that built Candide's knees? some of the shit he stops on hard pack makes me wonder what his legs are made of.
