What color/brand of ski sock should I use. help me plzzz

I can't decide if I should use hot chillis or another brand. Will the black ones work as well as the red ones? I ski 14% backwards, 24% park, 31.5% big mountain/powder, 19% park and 11.5% extreme backcountry. Oh I'm 4foot 2, 211 pounds. Thanks
 
what kind of ski SOCK HAHAHAHAHAHA, plain old grandma wool socks works best. Warm comfy, and stylish.

If you don't wear siver or orage socks, you aren't even close to core. You might as well quit skiing.
 
dude the red ones are better for colder weather, and the blue ones are better for the warm weather

if you can get ones with flames on them they'll keep your feet even warmer!
 
I don't want silver or orange socks. Unless thats what all the cool xtreme park riders use. I would prefer black or red. Thanks though!
 
i heard lime green is in this year. oakley might make some antifreeze ones. you could also go for the battery-heated type if you plan on doing some glacier skiing.
 
gosh, i hate when this happens, you dont know what sock to get, this is tuff... u say u need a freestyle sock? there isnt one just go buy a fuckin normal ski sock and wear it, plus i think you are wider than you are tall
 
for the most part ski boots are really warm. The reason ur feet get cold is beacuse they sweat. stop being a sissy and use any socks u can get. if ur feet are cold take a break and grab some food, take ur boots off and let your feet warm up. if u do this around 9-10 in the morning then ull be set for the rest of the day
 
Dude I suggest getting bootwarmer insoles and getting the red socks, the red work better by conserving 2% BTUs/hour than the black ones.
 
HA HA. go black for sure, reds so played, black lets you ride like T-hall.

But seriously people need to start riding in the X-sock, its got a left and a right sock and a two year garunteee so you have to register the sock on the internet. Its the most complicated sock Ive ever seen.

Are they looking for team riders 'cause I just got in a fight with my sock sponsor, punched my rep in the temple and got dropped.
 
the x-sock is great. just make sure you dont get a bootlegged version (i think champion is trying to make fake versions and stick the x-sock logo on them). you'll know as soon as you try to register the pair... and please, make sure you order the pair. there are some guys out there that could screenprint a picture of your mom on the sock too. those are rad.
 
you fail to mention that the anit freeze sock will keep all ice and snow awat from your foot/boot when skiing due to its anyifreeze properties. and flaming socks work better than battery heated crap.

I have been online for weeks and can't come to a decision. I guess I will have to use last years socks. Hopefully no-one finds out it would be a disaster for my rep.
 
Me too. I am seriously worried about the future of skiing based on some of the post on this site. I imagine even after this post someone will be like" Fuck don't be so stoopid, jst get any sock"

just dont get line socks. i hear they are overweight and have a tendency to snap in half. the fatty sole is a good idea though.
 
i think you should go with the carbon fyber thruster tubes from hot chillis they will give you the perfomnace of a red sock with all the sleek and styly looks of a black sock.

I dont really mind what color my socks are, im really good soo that dosent matter. I just try and spend as much of my parrents money and buy all the "dopest shit ever" soo i can fool people to think im really good like i did just a few lines up.
 
thall pro models, built in memory foam and triple fleace material. shit will cost you around a grand, but they come with a pocket built into the sock that rolls blunts for you while you ski.

but on a serious note, if you plan to ride park then you should get the black ones, cause comon, black and park go like glue and my mouth.

Totally true, I heard they can even sniff out the dankest shit, so if you put some herb in there that ain't choice, the socks will say 'fuck you, don't give me no 2nd rate shit' and then reject it.
