Damn I didnt realize this thread was so old, but im sure all those guys with dick replies when this post originally was made regret their decisions.

yeah thats what i was thinking i always give kids hell for wearing burton stuff. i mean its a company started by a snowboarder for snowboarders

True, but i always thought E-dollo and Tom emerged at around the same time.

I guess not. How much longer had Tom been in the game before henrick showed up?

I mean Tom was super popular on Newschoolers before he blew up to the rest of the world. Well before winning Superunknown or anything else he was already a very established dope NSer on the come-up.

Henrik was the same thing, but if my memory serves me correctly time shifted a year or two back from Tom.

Tonnes of the pros in their 20s today were random kids on NS in the 2003-2007 range. One at a time they all blew up, but as one would blow up the random kids on NS would treat them as pros - which included guys who eventually became pros themselves.

Even Gus Kenworthy was a random NSer for a long time. Hell his first summer at COC he won the "Make me the Newschoolers bitch" contest and had to cart around gear and shit for the staff.

Pros start out just like any of you. Young skier who is just a normal kid, then they work hard and eventually blow up. Fame may make them seem different, but we all started in the same place.

A homie of mine owned Tom's used brown/tan Burton pants for some time. I just texted him about. Sounds like he sold them a member on here by the name of camstain a couple years ago.
