It isn't that I WANT a smartphone more so that if I get a smartphone I probably won't need to replace my phone for several years rather than every two. And since I am on ATT the Droid is probably out of the question. Was looking at these:

the droid is a cdma phone, will never work on at&t, how ever you can buy the droid milestone online which is the exact same phone and is gsm unlocked, its also the phone Motorola sells in EU
