Get WRX dude, I love mine to death. That car hugs 45 degree corners really well like diapers hugs babies' asses. WRX can handle dirt roads and snow on mountain well too. I go on road trip very often, it's not that roomy when you want to bring along your bikes, skis, etc. It pains me sometimes when I have to leave home something I wanted to bring along cuz lack of room.
Infiniti's real good car when it comes to steering and handling, they lasts long too but that car's bit quite too fancy to be bit tough on it and going on mountains and shit in my perspective.
But;
If you're planning on traveling lot and that will probably requires more room to store your shit like bikes, friends, etctera- get Pathfinder SUV instead if you can afford it. Check out Isuzu Rodeo SUV if you want a cheaper price tag, they're 'manufactured' by Subaru too. My friend have one and he's really happy with it.
Just go test drive them all and buy one that suits you well and will please you for next ten years or whatever.
