What car should i get?

honestly, i think you got his point wrong. This thread isn't about speed man. His point was reliability in the snow I'm guessing. Read and understand before you post.

If you want a fashion accessory get whatever you want, but if you want a reliable car with excellent value and incredible handling on snow/ice (also some of the best crash ratings around), then get a subaru.

audi a4?

i'm seriously having second and third thoughts about my truck just because i know how she handles in the rain. i don't think i could imagine snow and ice.

Just get a TDI Jetta.. Diesels are so sick. I've got a Golf TDI and its so wicked.

Toss on some snow tires and a gnarly roof rack and you are good to go..

don't get the land rover. i drove a 2001 range rover, and from the time I had it, which was 2 years ago, to now, it has broken numerous times, and finally about 2 weeks ago the air suspension went out, causing the car to not be drivable. It only had something like 60,000 miles also. the repairs on land rovers are ridiculous...$500 for my passenger side window that would displace itself, not to mention 700$ for a sunroof problem, and an electrical problem that would always cause my tail lights/break lights to go out.As much as I loved my car, it was way too expensive.

I now drive an audi allroad, and I love it. Plus it's got something like an 8 year warrenty, so if anything goes wrong, I won't be paying $500-$1000 for repairs.

A4's are dope, if you want a stick, look at used S4's...but remember repairs for Audi's are a bummer too once the warrenty is up.

Bottom line, both cars were excellent in the snow, and AWD.

my friend stathi has a 2000 a4 he got for 13grand. It had 35000 miles on it and had all of the options. 2.6 liter. all wheel drive. 5 speed. sick ride, definatly a sweet car.

dihatzu hijet, they get 45-50 mph, not leagal in the U.S

i fucking love them, perfect for the winter for shity roads and perfect for summer for off roading
