What car should i get?

Chevy Caprice Classic...the one like a Lincoln TownCar, not the pig version like the ford wannabe. I mean this trunk is fuckin massive you could fit at least 50 (baby) bodies in there for sure.

i'm as much of a scooby fan as you, but trust me. just no. unless you got stage 4 turbo in your sti, theres a lot of cars that can beat it. anyway, as for my picks, go for a subaru WRX, if you want new then go for that new 2.5l jawn (the non sti) and if you want something with 300 hp go with an STI, second pick is an evo, should kick but in the snow also, third is SRT-4, would beat both of them stock, but its only 2 wheel drive.

you want something AWD. jettas are FRD. if you really really wanna make me jealous as fuck, get a 08 VW R32 rabbit. awd, 260 hp, sick as fuck lookin. plus its a hatch so you can cram it with yo ski shit. baller ass cars. whatever you get, go German. and get a manual.

Gahh, the new Rabbits look weird. My dad had a '78 diesel Rabbit until two years ago. He brought it back new and sold it for parts two years ago when it needed a new engine. I loved that thing - learned how to drive manual in it.

Watch out for the new VWs, they tend to have problems with their electrical systems. My friend bought a new Golf and had to have all of his Ignition Coil packs replaced. Then he had a problem with the Window winder motors failing.

The Audis nowadays are ridiculously expensive when it comes to repairs. If you remember to check fluids all the time and bring it in for checkups frequently, they'll provide you many years of reliable service. Super sweet cars, but you gotta take care of them. Change oil frequently and check the tranny oil.

You may want to check out the Toyota Tundra as well. My friend bought a short cab version and it's a super sweet ride. My mechanic friend also recommends them as he rarely sees any problems with Toyota trucks (in his 20+ years of wrenching).

I'm a VW/Audi guy myself, but I drive all the older cars which had fewer electrical problems than the newer cars.

-1987 Audi Coupe GT

-1978 Porsche 928

looks like i'll be gettin the jetta, seems to be the best right now.

my truck right now, i got it in august of 2005 and it was 28,000 but was originally 35,000. i think a jetta is a very nice car for the money, and hell it's german! go germany!

actually you can. contrary to popular belief its not really a hole in the ozone layer, but more like a thinning. the ozone layer can also repair itself.

i don't believe i said "hole".

as for the dude who said i was RETARDED. it does matter what people think about you. sure, you may think that it's bad to do that, but i bet you that you care about what other people think about you.

i was really kidding about the whole subaru thing, it's just that that car isn't my style.

i don't want a subaru. that's all.

anything has to be better than the truck that i have now. i can't imagine myself in the snow with my truck unless i put a couple hundred pounds of dirt in the back.

If you go with the Jetta, stay away from the turbo charged version. They just seem to have more problems in the long run. Make sure the oil and tranny fluids are changed religiously as many mechanical problems stem from the neglect of those 2 very simple things.

Fun cars though!

uhhhhhhhhhh...no!

i'm straight thank you very much.

i'm from brooksville, florida that's why. brooksville is like the redneck capital of the world. we also have tampa which has some of street racing.

what's wrong with girl that want's to drive a stick?

hahaha i took that last line really wrong, no i amjust saying that most girls dont want some big ass truck, but you are from where rednecks are, so it is fine

old jeeps are easy as hell to work on, and theyre prettymuch bombproof. a kid in my grade rolled his over 14 times last year, and he still drives it. theres a ravine behind his house, and he tries to run up it. it rarely works.

land rovers are nothing but trouble, ive had a 1998 defender 90 and ive had a 2000 discovery...everytime something broke it was $400...they are sick for off roading but have so many mechanical problems they are just not worth it...

you should get an old fj40..

good luck

get the defender. those things are sooo sick. or an sti. quite nice. outback are cool too. handle well with tons of room. id say yukon xl or suburban but they are bank and gas guzzlers. but thats wat i drive. love it. sooo nice. amazing in the snow and hUGE.

don't buy a VW, they are chick cars.

get and Audi. years from 1995 - 2002 are really cheap. My friend got a 1.4 T A4 for 10K, and I got and 1994 S4 for 12k.

Audis are cool and good in snow. get one.

VW?! just cuz its German doesn't mean its good. VW is like the FORD of German cars. You obviously have not driven any sort of Subaru. They've been doin AWD on all their cars longer than anyone, and its shows, you can slam on the brakes with two wheels on the road and two wheels off and not swerve at all. Plus they handle in the snow like a dream, especially if you keep a set of studded tires just for the winter season.

If you get a Jetta, then starting this thread was pointless. And just cuz you're straight doesn't mean your aren't dikeish. You can still be a BUTCH. Like love the weiner but play Shorstop for a fastpitch team if you catch my drift.

i'm not fucking BUTCH...obviously you haven't been in my neck of the woods cuz if you have been you would have a totally different perspective. just because i have a fuckin rifle on the gun rack in my truck doesn't make me a butch. not all chicks drive neon's.
