What Camera?!?!?!

well if im gonna spend this much money i want to be 100% sure of my purchase even before it comes in and im sure you can understand that

The only thing I'm sure of is that whatever camera you buy, it will be an oudated POS within 5 years, assuming you even use it that long without getting bored/breaking it/needing to upgrade.

$450 for a camera is pocket change. While that may be a lot of money to you, it doesn't change the fact that you are extremely limited in your choices. Ignoring our advice and reiterating the same questions repeatedly isn't going to change that.

I've had the hv30 for some time now and have been quite happy with the results. I'm in desperate need of an upgrade but its served me very well for the four years or so that i've owned it.

Filmed it all in 60i

and yes I know I forgot to deinterlace the ending shot

Dslr's aren't practical for sports filming apart from being able to shoot at 60p, with only some lenses having stabilisation and no autofocus it is really hard to get a good image if you are just beginning with filming. The best bet is to get a decent video camera (around $1000) and a tripod and you will be set! It is a lot easier to start filming with a video camera.Period!

Again, why the fuck did you make this thread?. You already knew you wanted a t2i/60d setup so why would you ask us and then try to contradict us. Like I don't know where to start.

Once he finds out DSLR's don't shoot 1080/60p he is going to be heartbroken. BUT THEN! A glimmering hope arises because the TM700 does shoot 1080/60p, but then he realizes it's too expensive and he wants a Sony point and shoot instead (even though TM700 is cheaper than t2i). But then he's going to find out that the HV30 is cheap AND has lots of add-ons! But then he remembers he actually wants a t2i/60d and it starts all over again.

BAHAHA, I lost so damn hard.

You're 14, get a damn job and save up.

Don't get a 60D because you wont know how to use it. T2i is simpler I'm assuming to use. Still, listen to the guys who know a thing or 2 about cameras and get what they tell you. Don't be a stubborn little shit.

yep. its on thepiratebay.com

your gonna have to look pretty hard, its hidden on the site somewhere, you have to switch the language to spanish then look in the music section and its pretty simple from there. i cant tell you where it is, It will give it away!

eh not really, you can easily operate one if you can operate the other.

however, if you're honestly interested in getting into photography or filmmaking, you should NEVER buy a lesser camera because you think it will be less complicated and that you're not ready for a more technical camera. you should essentially always buy the nicest camera your budget can afford, because it will allow you to grow into the camera and get better. if you are intimidated and buy a more limited camera, i pretty much guarantee you will not become as good.

this is what i am planing on doing getting the nicest dslr i can afford and grow into it i may not be able to use a 60d to its full extent but by useing it over time i thing i will learn more and more all the time and get better and better all the time. itd take years to out grow that

thinking about it now i sounded really stupid and i am gonna get the tm700 mostly everyone here knows better then me so its porbably the best choice
