What camera to get?

I am going to buy a SLR soon i am trying to decide between the canon 50D and one of the nikons. i would appreciate if you gave any suggestions.

I have a nikon d60 for sale. Comes with an 18-55mm lens and a bunch of other stuff to get started. Its a sick camera if you are just getting into photography. PM me if you are interested.

and if you are thinking about the 50D, I'd go 7D instead. Faster FPS, weather sealed, its worth the $100ish more

add one more zero to that..... a 50D goes for under $1000 now, a 7D goes for a little under 2
