What came first, the chicken or the egg?

Going off the theory of evolution, the egg would have to come first. If you're a creationist, the chicken came first. However, I feel the need to point out that this thread is a failure, so I'm not going to type any more to justify anything.
 
neither. it cant reproduce if there was only one, but if it were asexual... the chicken would have to come first, because a egg cant hatch without certan things that a chicken does to keep the egg warm, and protected

the egg. Eggs were developed by early reptiles when they emerged from oceans to keep the embryo from drying out. Chickens evolved from dinosaurs. There is protein and genetic evidence that supports this, as well as skeletal.
 
o and to answer your question the egg came first. remember the dinozorz, the pterodactyl laid eggs right? so that means the egg came thousands of years before a chicken. i win.
