They should keep that small two person lift up after they close the mountain. It's seems like they have plenty of snow and they could just let locals and people hitting the park maintain it to an extent. Seems like they're closing early and they could get lots of people to hit it from copper/winter park pass too...any suggesions/commments

I'll be hiking it till the snow's gone so it would be nice to have a chair. Any one have connections to the mountain? You should talk to them.

 
They have to shut down by law. If you want a longer season go talk to the state legislators, and federal water regulators.

 
^ i think what logchucker said is right. i think breck closes in 3 weeks. but we should all meet at the park one weekend throw a barbaque and have sessions and hike it for a day.

we'll all hike our asses up there. It isnt that far, and we can do some crazy shit like slide the handrails at the base and shit. There is nobody there at all after season, so we can bring shovels and build some shit, like big gaps to rails and shit.

thats a sweet idea! and i like the barbeque part too...breck closes on the 20th, after breck closes and hiking is bad too, we should all hit up a basin some time, we should set a date on when we could meet up at breck
