green 1080s from last year. Everyone including candide road them for a reason. So many pros ride em in the park. Now if your more of an all mtn person go with the salomon 1080 pro model boot its mad $ but you do get what you pay for.

Those green 1080s have shitty liners. If you're really set on 1080s, try to pick up a pair of X-wave 8s instead, same shell, better liner. They're really comfy boots, but the flex seems a bit wierd for some reason.
If you're in Canada, go out, find a sport chek RIGHT DAMN NOW, and get some Rossignol power 90s for 300 bucks cdn (Boxing day only price). They're regular $650, and very, very nice all mountain boots, similar to the Bandits. Stiffer than 1080s, though, obviously. Just got meself a pair.

GET ONE THAT FITS YOUR FOOT.
TO DO THIS, GO SEE YOUR LOCAL BOOTFITTER AND TELL THEM WHAT YOUR NEEDS ARE. THEY WILL LOOK AT YOUR FOOT AND PULL OUT SOME BOOTS FOR YOU BASED ON THE SHAPE OF YOUR FOOT.
maybe i'm wrong and you should get whatever is the 'coolest', but your boot is the link between you and your skis, and through your boot you feel what is going on down on the snow, so having a properly fitting boot seems like pretty sound advice.
