What boots should I get?

I am thinking of getting the Lange 120 comp, I was skiing with the Lange Banshee 9's they are a little too soft. What do you think????

Lets start the Season

FR120 comp would be an excellent choice. Or Rossi bandit boots, or nordica Beasts.

I was referring to the Rossignol bandit I or II, but really, get one that fits your foot. If the Langes fit, there's not good reason to buy any other boot.

Got some Salomon X-waves. They're my first pair of Alpine boots so of course I don't really have anything to compair them against but they seem pretty comfy for a stiff boot and the liner is one of the best on the planet.

yea, as far a Lange/Rossi being the same, the only boots that they have that are the same are the race stock boots. If you fit a Lange boot well, you've probably got a pretty skinny foot. stick with what fits your foot

just don't be as much as a fool as i am and listen to the guy when he sells you Lange 130 Worldcup (stiffest racing boot around) and ur shins become apple sauce from taking off a 2 inch pile of rat pheces

ps... why do you want a stiffer boot than the banshee 9s anyways? they are great boots. i have em. A 120 would be way to stiff for park purposes. Pretty much a 120 is only good if your A) a racer on race skis, or B) a really hard carver on wicked skis (option B is mostly likely an ex-racer)

atomic all the way there trytec(or whatever they call it) is great. So comfy and light they are not big and clunky like a nortica boot

go with salomon wave 8, same boot as teneighty, but less flex, better for all around, ive been on them for years. just bought new set too

don't get lackety

I have the lange 120 comp. I recommend taking screw out of the spine to soften the flex for everyday riding.

But man find a boot fitter that really knows what they are doing. Have him measure the charactoristics of your feet, and find the proper boot that fits you. Then work the boot to fit your style from there.

oh my god, atomics boots are fucking amazing. definately the best thing i've ever put my foot in - but thats only if it fits you. the boots are super light, the really do flex more under foot (split heel), and they hug your foot super well. don't fuck around with any other boot if they fit you well. i have the r:11 from a couple of years ago, i think its called the t:11 now? perhaps?

Maybe try out those new Head boots that have an adjustable last for wide or normal feet. That would be so nice to have.

It all depends on what type of foot you have. If you have a narrow foot with lots/some arch, then you should look towards a Lange boot. But if you have a wide and abnormally flat foot (like I do) and you want a soft jibbin boot, then you should get the Salomon Pro Model or the 1080 (which is what I have) they've got a flex index of 85 and they're fuckin dope and compfterble....you know what? Just get the 1080s.

So then he fell...and I laughed.

The Pro-Model is based off a more flexible version of the Course shell. It feets narrow feet.

1080 is based off the X-Wave shell; it fits wider feet.

Lange / Rossignols are mostly narrow as mentioned.

Visit an experienced boot fitter. Buy boots that fit your feet.
