What bones have you broken?

Just shattered my collar bone while trying to nollie and catching my tips at Breck the other day. Surprisingly not bad, I'm just glad it's not a knee. So far I have multiple ribs, collar bone, a concussion (if that even counts), and a broken thumb. List em off...what have you broken while skiing?

Imagine having ever broke bones☠️ Personally i am part of the top 000000.1% of people that never have because of my alpha pack ??????

Same here man. Broke my collarbone 4 years ago. Just popped from a green into a blue. Tips went into the ground first on the landing, stuck my arm out to break the fall, and snap.

Only "severe" injury has been a concussion or two.

This should have been way worse but thankfully I didn't bust anything up. Skis are fine too.

That's wild! I can't believe you made it out of that

only broke my nose when I caught on the second rail of a transfer rail. Never got it fixed so it feels weird to touch. tore an acl too

Broken nose, two broken ankles/lower tibia. Surprisingly not from skiing, aside from that I messed my shoulder up pretty good while trying a rod 5, landed fine then did one of those off balance bails to the hip, started rolling down the landing and my ski basket got caught under my ski and torqued my arm in the opposite direction, went to let go but the strap stayed on and hyper extended the fuck out of it. Not sure if it was a partial tear of something, dislocation that popped back in or what. The doc said, “come back in two weeks if it still bothers you,” I couldn’t sleep on it for 3 months and that was with rehabbing it almost daily.

broke a rib, fractured both heel bones and the bone above the heel bone, shattered elbow + broken thumb, and most recently a broken collarbone + heavy concussion. feeling ready to tone it down a bit, shit don't heal like it used to even though I'm still in my early 20's.

Holy shit

broke my right collarbone into 3 and got a titanium rod in it while over shooting the fuck out of a dirt jump on my bmx. broke the rod 9 months later doing the lamest shifty 180 skiing lol. cracked my nose trying to 3 a mogul gap (only 270d) broke my other collarbone doing a nose butter 5 in slush and catching my edge on the butter. possible cracked ribs from sliding out in a berm once but hard tellin not knowing

Broke my left wrist twice - once playing Ultimate Frisbee, once because I slipped during a water balloon fight

Right patella - caught an edge going pretty fast and just got all twisted up

Both elbows - Happened at the same time skating, trying to ollie over the tiniest little crack in the road. Had to get two pins and wire in my left one. Had to go on medical leave from work and live with my parents for three months

Pinky toe - kicked my best friend's ankle while playing barefoot soccer

Both pinky fingers - one playing dodgeball in middle school, one getting caught in a car door

Broke my thumb 5050ing a sticky tank learning to ski park 2015. Only bone brake (knocked on wood)

Broke my wrist falling off a golf cart, broke it again mountain biking (got knocked out at the same time), fractured my collar bone mountain biking again, and fractured my elbow skateboarding. Getting knocked out and breaking a bone was the worst by far

just fractured my patella trying a backflip on flat ground to concrete, cut season off and not sure when i’ll get a chance to do another one as i’m from the uk it fucking sucks man. Have also broken my wrist in two places before slipping out a tube and landing on it

I’m a member of the alpha pack ?

radius and ulna trying my first backie at COC in 2011. Wrist and collarbone seem like the most common skiing breaks.

Where is the ski resort Clash of Clans??????

I caught my tips doing a nollie going fast as shit this season but was unbelievably okay. Just broke my leg a few weeks ago from screwing up jumping off a mogul. Broke my thumb while first learning rails. I ditched my poles for a few seasons after that. Broke my arms a few times and my nose from non skiing things. Pretty bummed my season is over but I’m ready to get stronger this summer and come back next season to win the x-games

Broke my hand and thumb trying to break a fall off of a box during a hippie killer attempt, now one of my thumbs has limited mobility.

got my finger jammed between two basketballs in 5th grade, but nothing from skiing...I tend to have the biggest bones around although my mind says elsewhere. Means I'm tough, but cumbersome and its hard to do any kind of rotation easily or maybe I'm just too stiff. i needa send it more than I do.

Tib fib was skiing. Radius and ulna on ramp, was still on the full arm cast for that (still skiing) slipped going into the locker room and broke my other wrist. Get out of those and a month later break my wrist again biking.
