What bindings should i buy with K2 Juvy?

Got a pair of 140cm 2010 K2 juvys off of ebay...they are in kinda bad shape. I'm only using them for one season though. I wouldnt mind freestyle bindings but i don't want to spend a lot of money...pease help

thanks

binding wise maybe look at squires or z10's, both cheap and will work fine for you. People may tell you you want an STH 12 or an FKS 140 but they will be overkill for your needs. If I was you I would find some cheap z10's and ski hem for the 1 season you have the skis. Then if there is anything left at the end of the year, sell them and upgrade.

^ but he is 14, 115lbs and an intermediate. The size will be fine for him. If anything your on too long a ski, but each to there own.

I entered your details into a din setting chart however I had to estimate your BSL. I took into consideration you height and that generally you foot length is 15% of your height, I could work out you're street size US 6.5 (approx). I know street size and ski boot sizing are not the same but I put your BSL between 291 and 310. When I put you as a level 2 skier you din setting came out at 4.5 and when I put you as level 3 you came out as 5.5. Taking this into consideration and the fact you want the binding to last you a season look into marker free ten, salomon Z10 or even L7, from rossi the axium and from look the NX11 and NX10. I personally cannot comment on durabilty or performance on any binding as although I am 15, I am 6'0" and 175, so haven't been looking into such bindings for a while, so I am doing my best to point you in the right direction. I will mention however that I have had a lot of problems across the range with the marker royal family range of bindings, of which the free ten is a member, the most common has the been the heel piece sliding back on the rail causing me to pre-release. I have skied on rossis and salomons and had really good experiences on both.

Hope this helps, Joey

there is no way you will need size 9 ski boots, make sure you go get fitted and get a boot which fits rather then just ordering a size 9.

really? how did you break them? im just getting into freestyle....not gonna be going big yet... and i do have a season pass to bear creek PA...not breck.

oh and btw they were $20*** they were the skis that i were looking at and then i looked on ebay and it seemed like a miracle to see they on for $20 instead of $200.

lol well yea skiing is a very expensive sport... eispecially wirth all of then flashy crap people wear these days...but i jumped on that 20 bucks.

if you think you can get by spending 20 bucks on skis you will not be in the sport very long. Get your parents to buy you stuff
