What beer does every ski tech like?

You do the transaction and pay the agreed amount. Tips are just putting the burden of a livable wage on the customer. Goddamn we have so many hidden extras in America. It’s so aggravating. Tax on top, tip on top, etc. It really drives me nuts since I’ve been back.

Also, some take the “tip” thing as a rude pity thing. Not everyone but it does exist.

But I mean if it’s a free mount idk then. “Thanks dude” I used to hook people up in Australia and never got tipped in the shop.

I have experienced this traveling in other countries and don’t understand it because I see tipping from my own American viewpoint. It’s a simple cash bonus saying “thanks for doing an awesome job” like how is that ever a bad thing? Being thanked in money even if it’s not customary? If I’m trying to express my gratitude, how should I do it if not with money? A hug? Like that’s a genuine question.

Idk, it’s just not in our culture. We also do get well payed for quite shitty jobs. I think it is something in the worker law or sum. Like you can’t get more money than you are payed unless it’s overtime pay.

but mostly it’s just not a custom we have here. No one expect you to tip
